I'll be honest. I am not a great fit here. Way older than most users. Not middle class. Not any level of autistic. And I don't get along so great with much of the userbase. Some of the arguments I have had here feel like wrangling your sped teen son for the umptieth time this week before pouring yourself another good stiff martini.

What brings & keeps me here is hardcore stubbornness about freedom of speech-- and this is simply one of the last remaining sites that hasn't been turned into Pravda yet. I cannot thank Null enough for holding the line against Lefty.

So here I am.

People where talking about my fuck up of a call into the dick show.
My arrival was pretty 50/50 on people liking me, I kept up with that thread. Then the Gunt Drama when down and that's when I became a regular user. I saw how fun the site was with everyone making memes and branched out into the wider threads on the site. I hope fellow users enjoy my posts and I for sure enjoy reading up on interesting things. It's also nicer than say twitter because you get people who are just as tismy as you about a given subject and get user interactions, where as twitter can often be like talking to the void.

That's a good point, Twitter, Facebook, etc. are pretty void-y because I guess a lot of people only really post there for attention so a majority of replies to your post can be very superficial and stupid. Copypastas, bad memes, platitudes, just some really low effort shit over in those sites

Came here to post about my grievances with a sub par movie reviewer (really narrows it down I know) and nearly left it there but then the whole cwcest thing happened. Been two weeks since I joined and I'm still posting so it seems that I'm in it now for the long haul.

It's a good site for discussing crazies on the internet and the lack of censorship is refreshing, even if I think something being said is morally or in any other way wrong it's worth it for the unfiltered conversation. Also the non-cow threads are much better for online discussion with strangers than somewhere like reddit. All in all, I like it here

just realised this thread has been inactive for over a month but oh well lmao

I'm here because carefully constructed logical arguments don't mean anything and the zeitgeist rolls on. I've been banned from everywhere I have created these arguments and I am feeling post argument, post logic and post censorship.

Found Kiwifarms mid gamergate. I like big titties in muh games and would litter Anita Sarkeesian with lead. I started lurking on a more consistent basis after Weeb Wars. Mainly cause 4chan went to shit after all that, also cause I like saying nigger, kike & faggot

Originally joined so I can say "nigger" without a pass. Stayed because the community is actually pretty good all things considered.

Googled "Sam Hyde" to see what people had to say about that idubbbz video. Always lurked for a few years but I got a "real job" now and the threads on logistics, supply chains, etc seemed pertinent to me.
