Why did Cyrax rank so low on Lolcow of the year? - Don’t blame me. I didn’t vote

Now that lolcow of the year rankings rapped up, I’m rather shocked at one result specifically. Cyrax is one of the most mainstream cows of 2023 and yet he ranked second last. Only barely beating Ethan Ralph who did fuck all this year. What made him so unpopular? Was the competition that good? Or is it a matter of Cyrax being so mainstream he gets left out?

Alogs weening is probably a large part of the answer. His most dedicated alogs probably hang out somewhere that won't ban them for fucking with him.

It also doesn't help that the most recent stuff featured is poorly filmed violent skirmishes between him and alogs, and unfortunately, unlike the Ralph beatdown, they don't have the same visual pop that guntsticles spilling out onto the Portuguese pavement have because the camera operators involved are less competent than Cog somehow.

To me, he's just not funny. He is of course exceptional, but I still feel sad when I read his thread. Unlike others covered on this site, I don't think he ever really had a chance to be more than he is.

Cyrax got boring as fuck after the Marty fight. All the “difference makers” and weens trying their hand at being the next Marty pretty much ruined the content. Now all he does repeat the same shit over and over again in his tirades against the trolls, scream into microphone doing what he calls music and play video games on kick.

To be quite honest, if you were to hang around the various discord servers that stalk and harass Cyrax, you’d find that some of these guys are just as bad as he is.
