Why did they add the date we joined under our avatars?

I have mixed feelings on the feature; on one hand the variable hue based upon date joined allows for discrimination on the basis of color, which is something I firmly support.

On the other hand, why are those of us who made an account in 2019 the negroes of the site? We're appreciably darker than anyone else. The newbies are all red, people older are all green, and we're the standout as some very melaninated shade of dark purple.
It's ridiculous and I highly object to insinuation that 2019ers are darkies.

I was confused for a bit because I was lurking without an account a few years on and off before finally joining lmao. Also holy fucking shit 2015 was 6 years ago already soon to be 7? I HATE TIME!!!
Same here, I started lurking on and off in 2014 and finally got an account in 2020. It was primetime due to covid and the riots, but before that I really took the advice of "lurk moar" to its extreme.

2021 kiwis get faggy pink though. It's a win-win for all.
