Not happening. Mass production of apples is done through grafting onto root stock (because they don't breed true), which can be a whole shit ton of different things (including other Malus) and are usually chosen for local hardiness/disease resistance. With the apple tree bits separated from the ground by the root stock many diseases aren't much of an issue. Also, "natural apples" are usually more sour, less sweet, and extremely variable in quality.Apples are a monoculture tho, I wouldn't worry about it. Just wait for the next plague to wipe out all the shit-tasting apples and let the sweeter, natural apples proliferate
