Farts/Belching (Depending on autist's preferences)

It’s gotta be more than that.
I know the subgenre of inflation (the fact it’s big enough to have sub genres 😐) about blue people is a fixation on that one scene from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory but are all inflation fetishists just fixated on media scenes and it’s all childhood thoughts that got out of hand?

That is called "Blueberry Inflation" and I don't get the appeal either

I have no idea. I know that Tom Preston back when he had an internet presence admitted that a fascination with balloons of all things kickstarted his inflation fetish.
I'm not so sure about the rest of the community...

I like inflation. It's so autistic and completely removed from anything someone normal might find erotic that it's almost wholesome.

I'd take a cow with an inflation fetish over a furry or a tranny any day.

I think they're just short-sighted. They see the value of their money going up and it 'feels' like they have more money for the same effort/work, but then you point out that the cost of goods and services is rising at the same (or greater) rate. The ones that don't go full accelerationist doomer eventually come around to the fact that inflation kind of sucks and that it doesn't matter if you're a 'millionaire' when bread costs 250 dollars per loaf.

But I think this is the general trend of shape-shifting fetishes being correlated with furries: if human body shapes don't do it for you, then you're likely to get attracted to both animals and spheres.

Pre-pubescent kids just happen to be watching cartoons that feature antics like a character getting inflated like a balloon with air or water, or eating themselves fat. Wires end up crossing in the brain which causes them to become sexually aroused by that. It's the same thing that leads to people becoming furries or being aroused by vore.
