Why do people who possess "esoteric" knowledge not use it in any meaningful way? - Why do they spent their time posting on obscure websites instead of getting a job in the field they're interest in?

Hey, OP, you should look into the esoteric knowledge of the differences between the letters T and D and when each should be used.

Its easier for esoteric retards to find other esoteric retards this way. Nobody has time to read each others' books to find out who's somewhat reasonable, we have post histories that take 8 seconds to gloss over

Because it is all make belief.

If a nigga could really cast fireball, he would be in some glowie bunker getting waterboarded.

I would just use Summon Gold myself. They would crown me King of Israel.

If you have been interested in politics and conspiracy theories, you know exactly what type of people I'm referring to. These people would spend their time writing literal pages of their knowledge on certain topics on 4chan, X / Twitter or even Kiwifarms but would then go and complain about how their life sucks, how miserable they are, how they can't find a job, etc. If you have so much knowledge, why aren't you monetizing it? Why don't you try to get into the field in the topic you're interested in instead of spending your time arguing with other schizos on the Internet
/x/ here. Here's why. They already know

Unless they are becoming a professor, and want to put up with the hell that is modern day academia, there isn't really much they can do with it. Many jobs, including ones that involve their interest, require social skills and if they cannot stand talking about anything but their preferred subject, they won't go anywhere in life. They won't make it past the interview stage, and when they do, they will be found off putting immediately.

The stoic thinkers they goon about were basically patreon-whores who had great financial interest in exposure and... "clickability". In today's society they would be nobodies, not end up like our favorite cows. That said, what would smart people do to change society? Unless you can invent an objective new piece of tech or discover a fucking atom, you're never gonna have as much impact as the jew with the billions.

Smart people and those who did well in school did so either out of their own fun/interest or complete submission to society's grooming. To be good at education is to be good at a niche application of certain skills. It doesn't translate to other real life aspects, which is why they tend to also do a PhD and end up teaching for a living. It's like being good at theory but not practice, so you just "happen" to stick around in a theoretical field. Like a professional fantasy leaguer.

I've seen a few "what happened to the gifted student at your school" thread and they always ended up in a generic job or killed themselves. To say "omg you're so smart you should change the world" is the same as telling the tall nigger he'd be good at basketball.
