People online aren't the most well adjusted in the first place, so perhaps it's just a matter of weirdos congregating and egging others on into more extreme and absurd beliefs?
Most people online or not have extreme beliefs and even superstitious beliefs. Most just won't admit it or keep it to themselves. Including successful people. Let's be frank, how many successful and well adjusted people do you know honestly and not just "people you agree with " equating to well adjusted? I'm sure it's slim.
To some degree I think there's jealousy at play. The type of people to rant about the jews, gays, alcohol, media, or anything modern online aren't the type enjoying their lives or having much fun, so they want to deny fun to everyone else. A crab bucket situation if you will.
Or they can pinpoint statistically a frequent occurrence and notice a pattern. A conclusion based on repeated evidence and occurrence. Funny how they 90's adhered to all sides of life and was far more successful for most people compared to today.
Perhaps they're just majorly autistic and simply want everything to conform to a very strict set of rules because otherwise they have difficulty navigating the world around them and want to blame everything else for their failure.

Sure they do. Most normal people call for the death of their bosses behind closed doors or talk about strangling their mother in laws who is pissing them off, or even kicking someone's ass all the time. Politically though? I don't really have a political home. I find most parties and politicians have at least a few good ideas, regardless of where they sit on the political spectrum. I will say I think the party system is bad for everyone, I'd much rather consensus style governments.

I am willing to engage with some questions, but not others. People online have this incredible ability to ignore the subject/point at hand and focus on the person who made it, making the entire discussion about said person.

If someone presented an argument about Jews causing issues in western society who is more likely to get you to listen, A neo-Nazi, another guy who gets a lot of things right, or some Jewish man? they would probably register more credence depending on circumstance if arguing the same thing which is obvious.
IRL my views would be considered sane by the vast majority. I am specifically talking about the type of loser online who goes to extreme right wing politics. The online nazis, the trad larping types, the ones who want to return to the past, the ones who reject basic social progress, the ones who openly call for the death of people they find disagreeable or "degenerate".
That's what every insane person says with little to no credibility. It also depends on what majority you are standing in, go tell that to people in Africa general population vs. America and you'll get quite a different reciprocation. The one's who "want to return to the past" see an era that had success based on pattern results, compared to modernity where everything is either shit tier, low trust (AKA: Mal Adjusted society production), or worse, but yes those people are the problem not those leading to an irresponsible society derelict on its duties and barely functioning properly.
