Why do twitter users say "my content is not for X group"?

Like what the fuck do they expect when they say this? That all of a sudden Nazis/Righties/Pedos/Zoos/anyone they don't like are suddenly not going to follow them? Outside of blocking, this is such a nothing statement.

I've never used Twitter but I assume it's meant to do the exact same thing as literally everything else that Twitter users do: get social credit without actually doing anything of value.

"If I write a funny tweet or an insightful hot take, the bigots better know that I didn't write it because I like them! I want nothing to do with nazis!". It's the usual moral advertisement to show everyone what a hard line stance they take against wrongthink.

Slightly aside but it's always sort of pissed me off, like if you say or do something and someone you don't like laughs at it, either way then the person will be less miserable and act like less of an insecure joyless misanthrope and they'll probably like you and respect your opinions more. You aren't gaining anything by preemptively acting like a faggot besides useless asspats from sychophants.
