theres like 10 people who made popular lolcow threads and none of them got one, including me. actually in general none of the manual badges seem to be awarded to anyone anymore, which leads me to believe that no one remembers that they're there and its like if this is true then why even have badges in the first place if they dont do anything and no one remembers they're there?

my original question was why do we have badges at all. they dont give you any privileges or features anything, and we dont make any new ones like the last one was made a year ago. what if we had badges that unlocked new themes or gave smileys or something.

but if you feel like it just organize the lolcow board by views and give the top guys their badges thatd be cool

Once katsu made a badge for being gay and tried to find out every gay member of the forums and give them that badge I think he was planning some kind of mass genocide.

There are two people who can hand out trophies manually. One of them is me, and one of them is a tranny.

I'd love to have more admins who engage people on stuff like this but I don't know who I'd trust for it. In order to hand out trophies they need ACP access. Glaive and DeagleDad used to be good at this but one is an insane person and the other is in college.
