Why do you, personally, follow Lolcows?

Why do you follow lolcows?

What do you get from it?

Do you consider how this may effect others?

First post. Long time lurks. I find some of the regular farmers here, in some ways, more interesting with how obsessed they can be with particular lolcows.

What makes you do this shit?

I got into lolcow culture around 2014 but never got around to lurking the farms until relatively recently. I think what prompted me to actually register was reading off-topic threads and finding myself enjoying conversations about art, tech, viddygames and the contemplating the future of the modern world.

Plus it helps keep me off Twitter, which is a net positive for anybody.

I'll be the first to say you sound like a stupid nigger and should kill yourself, but before you take the exit bag I'll answer you proper:

I hang with people outside this site, and am now stuck today with a community I poorly chose to associate with when I was younger. If some shit is going down I would like to be aware of what is going on and who's involved so I can keep tabs on people and steer clear of any potential disasters coming my way, including any serious allegations. People tell me that reading nothing but drama is bad for my health but I have successfully kept myself out of trouble for this fucking long and I appreciate the site and its purpose for giving me the opportunity to become aware of any troubles that might come my way.

When you get high enough you realize you are a part of a universal oneness experiencing itself, and all lives across all realities will eventually be you again experiencing them over and over, forever.

Since this is hell, watching lolcows is a reminder of your past and future lives that you cannot escape. Existence is suffering. lolcow viewing is coping but only makes it worse.

In all seriousness mainly for me it is just entertaining to see stupid people being stupid. Plus in many of these instances, these people deserve to be laughed at, because they are purely a ridiculous specticale. That in most instances take themselves and or the situation too seriously. Especially when they chimp out about internet anons laughing at their shennegans.

I don't really consider myself a lolcow enthusiast or connoisseur, its more like some people I follow/used to follow just happen to be lolcows so I ended up here. I guess it's just like watching a TV show that used to be good, but now its a trainwreck and you stick around just to see how it ends.

Interesting conversation I suppose. I dunno I guess they're just interesting to me. It's not out of a superiority complex as I don't care about that sort of thing. If you read something like Sonichu it makes you wonder, what goes on in the mind of the man who wrote this? What does this man think about? How does this man perceive reality differently than me? As a child I was always fascinated by weirdos because they have a very unique outlook on life that's completely specific to them.
