Why do you use Kiwi Farms? - ITT we share reasons why we use this website

Because I not only like to be entertained by the foolishness of internet figures, but to get word of mouth information, as opposed to compromised search results and dumbass takes from normies on social media. The Farms is useful for finding out what's really going on with hot button issues, but also for opinions on various things like software, media, etc. that are more thought out than what you typically see on other sites. The biggest problem that the Farms has in that regard is that it's so much smaller than other sites that you often have to go outside of it to find info on things that it may be lacking on. Reddit is something of a midpoint between the Farms and social media/other mainstream sites in that you can get word of mouth information, but the site is heavily censored, an echo chamber, and has many midwits. The negative impact of the midwits on the site can't be overstated; there are so many posters that can type in clear, proper English, but have zero critical thinking skills, bloating threads with dumbass talking points and leaving one to sift through the trash to find a post by someone with a modicum of intelligence.

Really though, the most important reason I visit the Farms is to have a central hub of sorts to visit when I open my web browser, where I can just chat with non-retarded people on various things like I did back in the 2000s and early 2010s, before the web went to shit. There are a handful of other sites out there that can serve the same purpose, but they tend to me much smaller than the Farms and much less active.

KF is one of the remaining discussion boards like ones in the '00s sans censorious "Community Guidelines" "hate sites", where I can use "freeze peach" "hate speech" freely.

For example, there are not that many other sites online now which aren't "social media" and where I can question the effectiveness of the coof jab without getting some ban.

Originally, I found farms through YandereSim and lurked as anon around YandereDev thread since it had a lot of useful information and quick updates on the game drama. Then I kind of forgot about the farms until the tranny shit with Chris Tyson and Lily Orchard led me back here and then to the massive rabbit hole that is Stinkditch.

At first I just wanted to rant a little and delete the account but then coming here became sort of a habbit. So now I'm here to bitch and moan for some emotional release and read people's thoughts on things. And have a giggle here and there.

I'll probably terminate the account eventually. I'm sure of it

Found it as a reference for following a community and after lurking a while figured it would be a good place to join.

I have to agree on it feeling like the old internet. People want to have a discussion and not shit the place up randomly just for the hell of it. I like that the site has various ares such as lolcows and communities to get a laugh at and at the same time serious discussions in other off topic areas like games. A major bonus that we can pretty much say what we think here too instead of having to dance around land mines like in most online discussion areas now.
