Do kids and people actually want this? Why would youtubers settle for this annoying ass, high energy, adhd shit instead of going with the former? I'm sure it'd be a lot less work having to push that shit through the top of your lungs.

That's pretty interesting.

I'm sure in part it can be blamed on the viewers for being mentally retarded faggots and children who can't handle anything that doesn't immediately grip them within the first few seconds.

Although I'm sure it's also indicative of people phoning it in while trying to sound enthusiastic, since the e-grind has hollowed out their soul. My god, could you imagine having your livelihood be youtube/e-entertainment for even a couple years let alone for the better part of a decade? That would be absolute hell.

You need to lack a certain amount of testosterone to not cringe at the idea of becoming a youtuber. These guys had enough lack of testosterone to not tap out in the process of becoming a content creating faggot.

ADHD zoomers need fast, high-energy voices or else they lose focus. The silly voices and "funny" antics (memes, pop culture references, puns) are there to keep the young viewers engaged.
And of course, you need some sort of call-to-action. "SUBSCRIBE! COMMENT!" etc. That's what the almighty algorithm favors.
And zoomers love having parasocial relathionships, so hearing a YouTuber say "hey guys, what's up?!" feels personal to them, like the content creator is speaking to them directly.

Niggers on YouTube change how they speak to get as many views as possible. Because a lot of kids are on YouTube they change their tone to sound like complete faggots.

Also CGP Grey sounds like he regularly takes dick up his ass in his newer video. That’s freaky. The first channel isn’t that bad though. Sounds genuinely helpful.

I assume it's because the channel got popular and the content is no longer driven by passion.
It's a job now, the creator has to do it so he has to fake his enthusiasm and that's the fake enthusiastic voice he can do, it's very similar to a telemarketer's voice.
I imagine his real voice being emotionless, almost whisper-like, then he turns on the camera and goes all: "HEY, GUUUUUYS! IT'S YOUR FAAAAAAAAVORITE YOUTUBER, IN DA HOUUUUUUUUSE!!!"

In short, it means your favorite Youtuber has sold out and is dead inside.
