Do kids and people actually want this? Why would youtubers settle for this annoying ass, high energy, adhd shit instead of going with the former? I'm sure it'd be a lot less work having to push that shit through the top of your lungs.

I think the first CGP Grey video is more of an exception to his usual fast-talking style, if anything. He's slowed things down a few times for more serious topics — you can't really be joking around about Indians getting wiped out by smallpox.

Fair enough, here's a video uploaded right after the Americapox that's a bit more lighthearted and how he normally talks
You can still tell the vocal decline between here and his newest vid.

ChrisFix is actually helpful for non-car spergs, but aside from that, I know he is playing up a voice/accent because his viewers made a big deal over his mild Northeastern/New Englander accent in the past.

As for the rest, who knows. Driving that algorithm, I guess. I don't give YouTubers that much thought, really.

Jack septic eye? It says something when even modern lets players are generally less abrasive then even his content of years ago.
Yeah, that's the one. God, he's fucking annoying. This is why I can't tolerate the gaming parts of YouTube.
