Why does Capri-Sun have mushroom extract in it? - How does that protect quality? Is this why it tastes worse now?

It's a way to claim that they are a "clean" food. They do not use artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. It tastes worse now because you no longer have the palate of a child.
You are wrong, and also you are fucking wrong, like last year or the year before they did the switch. I even bought some of the last non mushroom ones at the store and compared them to the mushroom ones. You're not going to gaslight me into thinking they don't taste any different you lying son of a bitch.

They've been rigorously taste tested, and even scientists have done multiple experiments that have proven that they trigger the same tastebuds in the same quantity and order as they previously did.

I can see how you'd like to hold on to the nostalgia of the taste you remember as a child, but it's very clear that YOU have changed, and not the taste.
