Why does chris stand out among other cows?

Other cows fit into one of three categories (applies to troons as well):

1. Unfunny tryhards whose antics are subjective to a very niche audience

2. Gimmicky retards whose autism grows less entertaining over time

3. Freakshows who are too miserable/evil to find humor in

Chris is different; his life plays out like a narrative. He's the autistic greek hero stuggling and failing horribly to overcome his shortcomings. He had a charm to him that modern cows lack.

Why was this?
 
Back then people could film and make fool of themselves for everyone to see, now this kind of vlog-like content is usually filtered out by sponsored influencers.
 
Lots of lolcows are basically one-trick ponies as you said. CWC had everything- horrific finances, disgusting house, schizo social media, terrible personal relationships, a wide variety of fandom interests, disgusting sexual behavior, disgusting hygeine, actual stupidity, funny way of dressing, and various personal beliefs/delusions too numerous to list here. As well as retarded politisperging on BOTH sides of the aisle, noteworthy since a lot of cows tend to stick to one side or the other.

CWC has every lolcow trait, which is why he's so exceptional
 
The internet is different now. Retards are more aware of trolls and gawkers so they do most of their autism in discord or whatever.
There are probably a shit ton of Chris replicas out there we are just unaware of. I think what made him the most interesting was his IRL ventures, most cows keep their antics contained to the internet or their personal friend/family circle. The fact he harassed everyone in his town and got banned from every establishment he frequents is what sets him apart for me.

Plus nostalgia just makes us like him more.
 
He was the original lolcow. Chris Chan had a very different understanding of the unspoken rules of life and because of that he stood out from the crowd of society. Chris Chan didn't conform to one trick pony gimmicks or a predictable set of personality.
Chris Chan was authentically and organically himself and that is what makes him special.

Some of its due to time and place. The state the Internet was in during the Classic era was ripe for someone like Chris to come along to be mocked/overserved/trolled/etc. If you put a 26 year-old Chris Chan at the mercy of today's Internet, people would barely bat an eye at Chris and move on to the next thing. Another aspect is how much there is to discuss about Chris. Not only about Chris himself in how he thinks and operates, but the sheer amount of info and trolling sagas surrounding him. There's so much to pick over with Chris that simply isn't there with most other lolcows. Even the ones that come close just don't have the same pedigree as Chris Chan the OG lolcow does.
 
Chris is the epitomy of Lolcow.

He's had it all the attributes we want in a cow and Chris got it.

His milk was sweet and plentiful. His milking was easy and always ready, even without milking his udders were always ready for milk. He made us fat and complacent.

Chris was the perfect cow.

We now have a stock of cows at the ready but they don't have the same cuantity and quality of milk that Chris had, and the turnout of getting sour milk is always high, plus the corn harvest is done once a season so that's that too.

I would love another cow like chris. His milk was great, even with some scent of Fanta.
 
As many others have said throughout the years, Chris is the OG lolcow, bred form a perfect storm of early internet, autism and boomer parents. He managed to entertain us for many years due to his absolute retardation, also he is one of the few cows around here to have a full set of documentation around him, entire archives containing some of the most batshit crazy things anyone has ever seen (semen fanta, sonichu comics, sex tapes and more).
 
I've said this in a more detailed way on the cwc forum, but my running theory;
Chris looks normal, more normal than most cows, if Chris looked more like his actual level of mental retardation, these forums wouldn't exist.
Don't forget, Chris came to light because he was the "crazy pacer" it he looker like the downie he actually is, that story isn't getting written.
 
Chris is a pioneer. Did things sometimes a decade or more before it became the norm. Being an incel, a brony, an autistic manchild into kid's entertainment (this is so prominent now that even on a right wing hate site like kiwifarms people think watching "star wars" as an adult is normal). Last but not least, Chris trooned out before it was cool. Chris is a canary in a coal mine. Because of Chris, I can know for certain that in 5-10 years it will be perfectly normal to have sex with imaginary hedgehogs and your mom. Chris is a trendsetter. With 100% certanty that's the case, there are also cows as open as Chris is but not in the same combination and react like he did when prodded most of them just have the sense of self preservation to keep it mostly on the down low or to very speciffic small communities that vet new users.

Do not forget he was arrested/went to jail on multiple occasions, was shown in numerous local news coverages (house fire and pepper spray), and even after 13 years of trolling, he still falls for the same tricks.

Simple - Chris caught the attention of multiple different communities and brought them together. Before the internet found Chris lolcows were generally just designated to small threads on places like SA or 4chan. The discovery of Chris changed that.
