Why Does Every Peice of media have swearing in it

This is something that my father once pointed out to me that I can't unsee. I swear pun intended that every piece media whether its a game or a show or a podcast literally anything even the so called based trad people do it is this just a symptom of desensitization or what i cannot think of anything that is not filled with swearing none stop its bad and most the time completely unnecessary even Null on MATI constantly swears and he claims to be catholic so the question is why is this the case?

It used to be a cheap way to gain shock value either for humor or to draw attention to drama (think early South Park or the Sopranos). Now it just seems like background noise because people have been too desensitized to it. There's really no shock word that's forbidden these days other than "nigger" which is why kids today are so obsessed over it's taboo nature since it's the only one left.
