Why does Joe Biden have an obsession with trannies?

He wants a girl with a girl dick as big as his giant dong

I don't think he does himself. The transgender debate is a social wedge issue(like many others) to keep the population bickering and resentful. It creates nonsense cultural debate, television shows, and news articles. Plus, it creates a useful dodge for criticism.

It's useful for the dems to use this issue as a feint politically. Either to avoid passing legislation that would help us or passing legislation that actively works against the public.

Same bullshit why the dems are "exploring reperations" for blacks with comical sub committees...

For the same reason he got rid of Trump's executive order to lower insulin prices. Anything to please Big Pharma, and trannies are some of their best customers.
I'm curious how much do you think big pharma is actually making off of trannies?

It's such insignificant part of the population. I just can't see why they would care...

I'm not being smug, I'm genuinely interested on the economic incentive..

Yeah I should've listed $$$ as #1. Without gain behind this, it wouldn't have passed the smell test at all. Attaching to LGB was also a good PR move.... but mostly $$. What other human rights movement has changed public opinion that quickly? Where a beloved author of a gen is ostracized in mins, for questioning things?

It's an insignificant part of the population that doubled between 2012-2016 and is probably going to have tripled by next year, if it hasn't already. They require lifelong hormone treatment, most are on semi-permanent mood stabilizers as well, and I'm not even touching on what they make for healthcare providers via SRS. Pushing trans acceptance is a great way to expand into a new market and bump up demand for already existing medication that previously was only used to treat hormone dysfunction in the elderly.

I think part of the reason attempts to fix obesity by governments of all stripes are so milquetoast and ineffective is because Type II diabetics are a similarly useful lifelong consumer for the pharmaceutical industry.

Well, if we're going down that road....

(About to go autistic for a sec) Opioid drugs were very cheap to make, but that didn't stop people from thinking money was behind prescriptions. It wasn't exactly the drugs themselves, but the clinics, patient visits, etc., that added up. Like that industry, gender has a lot of potential even with backlash: surgeries (have tripled in cost since medicaid coverage), drugs, therapy, etc., it's a win win either way.

Don't forget that a % of 350 mil is a good chunk and gender identity ideology has significantly grew amongst the under 35s. 2% today, but could be 10% tomorrow.

I don't think it's him, but rather, his handlers. I hear they're going to have a special forces branch made of transgenders? I dunno man.
TRANZ COMMANDOZ!

Right but that 2% is probably generous. How many of them are gender queer non binary dipshits that wouldn't even touch hormones, let alone have surgery?

I would say it's probably the majority..

I don't think it's him per se, it's just him and his handlers pandering to to young progressives as many have already said here. Though, I feel like becoming more and more socially progressive might just be an attempt at distracting people from the neoliberal warmongering and capitalist economic policies that many progressives otherwise despise. Though, I don't think that strategy is really working on anybody besides normie democrats who aren't as dedicated to being progresssive in every way, shape, and form.

I also believe, eventually, the social pandering/virtue signaling will begin to backfire.

It's turning into a poisoned chalice at this point. You can never pander enough. When you don't you lose politically.

I think it's really old out of touch politican just not understanding the cultural pulse...

I'd look up stats but they're unreliable. They like mixing LGBTQBLAHBLAH all together. Still, in my state, "top surgery" independently funded, was approx 10k. Now it's 30k bc it's gov + ins funded. That's just one type of surgery, and a popular one at that for both sexes (cut off boobs/ put on boobs).

It's not restricted to medical either. If you can just convince boys to wear makeup (for ex) you just tapped into an untouched potentially lucrative market. When razors (1920s) hit a ceiling with sales, they took advantage of skimpier styles worn by women, by advertising women shaving. It could've flopped, bc stockings, but no, the risk paid off.

It's so much more than medical; fashion, hygiene, media, etc... and if it goes wrong? Like the "opioid epidemic", there's incentives for gender reversing drugs, clinics, products, etc.
