Why does weed/hashish stop hitting when you do it a lot?

When i stop for more than 2 days , if i smoke again i'll be with a super vivid high , almost like feeling every vibration on the surroundings
if i smoke for more than 2 days in a row , i start feeling nothing once i smoke
any medical terms for this?

The truly fucked up thing with alcohol is, in addition to conditioning the brain to operate under a constant depressant, because of the particular neurochemical receptors it likes to bind to, building up enough saturation in your system can also trigger seizures.
The only drug I can think of where enough excess and sudden cessation can both kill you, in the same way.
