IMO Wojak's expressionless face and relatively blank template allows for endless variations of the meme, resulting in an appealing format for normies that leads to creations that everyone can relate to such as this case of terminal autism:View attachment 2834906
It's both of these. Basically anyone can use him.Because of the depressing state of affairs, keeps wojak relevant.
oh yes the depressionfags, all of which seem to be 14 y/o shitletsThey evolve, the doomer one even has his own subculture of mopey youngsters (formerly known as "emo")
Its a formation of our universal unconsciousness. A shared experience that we evolved to have. The same reason we see a million variations of Good V Bad face in history like this like this:It speaks to the human condition.

Disagree. He's unexpressive. That's why he's perfect. The Kuleshov effect suggests we get what emotion we feel out of his blank face based on the context. The first "feels guy" i saw on 4chan was about seeing somebody in a coffin at a funeral (which is also part of Kuleshov's experiment) and I really felt like that blank ol wojak expressed that. Wojak is the most cinematic meme we've ever had.Wojak is profoundly more expressive than ragecomics ever were.
