Why don't you guys support Palestine?

Not really, there was already a long period of tension and low-key violence beforehand, even in Lebanon- i.e. the 1860 Mount Lebanon Massacre which is the reason why Lebanon was created in the first place. And let’s not forget how the Palestinians were one of the main reasons for Lebanese Civil war after they were kicked out of Jordan.

The whole “Muslims and Christians lived in peace” meme is only true if you consider it from the Islamic hegemonic perspective.
The 1860 massacre of Lebanese Christians was not led by Muslims but by the Druze's. Funny how they love to parade themselves as the "peaceful" and "civilized" ones out of the whole shitshow which is the Middle East

I have the position that if you lose your land to another group you have to find a way to take it back, because there are no international rules. We can pretend all we want there are, but it all boils down to the lack of an international police force/enforcement agency.

Your state's existence depends on your ability to defend it, or at least make alliances that are able to do so. Palestine lost, they want people to intercede for them but they don't bring enough to the table for Arabs to risk another 6 day war and the rest of the world doesn't want to fuck with Israel because of their ties to the US.

Realism is a bitch but it's just the truth of things.

Israel is an ally of the United States of America at the end of the day, I'm not going to support an enemy of any ally of ours. Whether or not they should be an ally is debatable but the fact that they currently are is not.

If they weren't an ally then I'd probably just be neutral because I stand to gain nothing by supporting nations not allied with America.

Yeah it started as primarily a Druze-Christian conflict, but later transformed into a more general Muslim-Christian conflict with the Ottomans taking the sides of the Muslims, until France forced itself in.

Support? I have given no money willingly to either Israel or Palestine. With that said I do believe Palestine has a legitimate right to their land. Which land, whose land, and what happens if an Israeli is already living there? I don't know how it would all work in practice. Some will never get their land back I know this much. It is the way it is.
To be clear when I say Palestine I mean the Palestinian people and the Palestinian Authority. The Gaza Strip too but I do not count Hamas or any actual terrorists on account of their violent zealotry and dysfunctional government. On that point there are varied reasons as to why many only support Israel's claims. It is true that Israel has committed and continues to commit many crimes against Palestinians however unlike the Palestinians Israel is one nation. They have a functioning society and government and play an important role in the economies and political orders of the world. Does Palestine? Barely. Furthermore there are Arabs and even anti-zionists living in Israel even if relations are tense.

But I do support Palestine. If only because I'm still salty about the fact that the British didn't have any right to give the Holy Land to a bunch of kikes.

I don't really care who wins. I just wish we didn't have to keep paying for it.

IDF has more hoes.

On a serious note, who's even winning that war currently?
