You might get more money from the left, but it is less competition from the right, and the amount of uphill battles are greatly exaggerated. If you manage to get to the level you are making a profit in YouTube, you'll probably be savvy enough to never say something that will outright nuke your channel.
 
Because it's easy, but like others have said it's hardly an issue unique to conservatives.

People want to hear people say shit they agree with. Grifters figure out that if they say shit people agree with, they'll get money and/or attention, and so they grift. People particularly love it when someone who normally wouldn't agree with them claims they do, hense why conservatives LOVE black conservatives or female conservatives. Candance Ownes was one of the most successful grifters for this reason.

Learn to think for yourself and stop forming parasocial relationships with people who don't care about you and you'll be less likely to fall for the grift.
 
Conservatives overwhelmingly make money by ridiculing the insanity of the left. It's a profitable business model, and, just off the top of my head, I can name a dozen conservative personalities who are making a tidy living by doing exactly that.

Left wingers, on the other hand, the harder they try to push their liberal narrative, it only accomplishes feeding more fodder for ridicule to the right wing personalities, while generating very little profit for themselves.

Conservatives can independently build loyal audiences that will support them, while progressives almost always have to have corporate(ESG) and government sponsorship in order to survive, because, as we've seen time and time again, their is no audience( not a paying audience anyway) for their incessant gaslighting, liberal amorality browbeating, and virtue signaling. They can hardly give that shit away, and it's the reason why the "leftist legacy media" is in the final stages of collapse, and it only still exists because it's being artificially propped up by rapidly-dwindling ESG money.

Wanna make a small fortune in progressivism?

Start with a big fortune, and invest in liberal media outlets.

I don't think that's far from the truth. The modern right just isn't as extreme as the left and they're much easier to please. Being a grifter on the left requires more devotion and their more than happy to drop you if you don't go a mile for their a beliefs(Not that it's impossible pretty much all of bread tube are grifters along with shit like Hanson and TYT). For the right, it's as you said. Just say the correct things.

To answer the question though. We live in a atomized, isolated society. Everyone wants to be part of a community however there are hardly any authentic communities left. They been captured by monetary interests.

Its a social cause, they all lend themselves to grifting. The current wave of internet conservatism was like the perfect storm for grifting because it was built from the ground up largely by grifters. The grifter mindset is kind of short sighted though.

Hell go back to even gaymergate. Look at the personas popular during that online movement and ask yourself how much they've changed now. Name like any that werent in it for the grift in retrospect. Its all the feedback loop of making an ideology your livelihood.

Its literally your meal ticket to have a mindset at that stage and with that I think comes a certain level of fear of deviation. Deviation from pandering to that audience even when they leave it. Because that meal ticket fed them so well once.

Its why ethan ralph is still doing the same shit but now hes the "pro america" equivalent to wings of redemption. You can see how much ethan actively hates what he does. You can see how much wings does too. You can see how they both try to replicate the same behaviors that previously gave him a meal ticket.

Its why tj kirk still does the same fucking videos all these years later even when garnering basically no views.

They all end up turning attention into a fucking skinner box and in the end they're just stuck like this.

This is not hard. The march through the institutions was perfected some time ago. No corporate sponsorship, no backing in academia or cultural centers. People who invest time to offer commentary at a professional level or near professional level thus have to rely on listener support, sponsorship from smaller businesses to make it work.

Honestly? I used to hate it. But now I get it.
Most people online aren't even selling anything, they're just streaming someone else's content, reading an article, playing game, or talking to someone.
Imagine a busker but instead of a guitar, they're playing a video game on the sidewalk.

I cannot read the word grifter without visualizing the uncontrollable seething coming from whomever uses the word.
