Talking about paving specifically. you cant work in the winter as it's to cold to lay down asphalt. You also can't pave when it's raining. So summer is the time to get as much done as possible. It sucks ass let me tell you. It's hot, grueling and thankless work. Everyone should have to do it for a summer.
