Why is everyone so mad all the time?

Don't want to powerlevel but I just got banned from a streamer's chat, I supported him with a sub for 3+ years, in chat we were talking about something pretty normal and he just flipped out, called me a bunch of names and banned me. I am genuinely confused as to what happened.

This is not some gay emotional support thread, I'll move on with my life and this isn't a big deal, just curious why it seems like everyone is on edge literally all the time now. Also might not even be a real thing and my perception is biased by an outlier event. I'm open to that possibility as well.
I think this is more of a streamer problem than a people problem. Most people are normal; streamers are offended by anybody that doesn't stroke their ego 24/7.
Streamers are all entitled faggot who love to force their viewers to walk on eggshells 24/7 when they're in their chat, so it isn't surprising that it happened to you
Exactly, back when I used Twitch, it was so easy to offend streamers and get banned, and their loyal paypigs don't care enough to take issue with their edaddy's trigger-happy moderators because to them you are a "toxic" chatter. I used to troll Twitch chats all the time and make it a game to get banned until they changed the rules because of the Twitch "hate" raids.

I've noticed you can't disagree with someone without them assuming you're trying to start an argument. No one can have a normal discussion anymore. Just because I don't agree with you doesn't mean all of a sudden I hate you and want you to die, good lord.
It's tiresome or when you do have a discussion, they try to turn it into a yelling match and think raising their voices does it. Two of my coworkers do this and it's very obnoxious.

I was born angry but valiant, lost my ability to focus, and now I am just angry at myself for the things I lost and cannot do.

Lesson learned: use your natural state of being as a tool, and don't suppress it. Even if you are simmering with rage under your smile.

It's impossible to tell you without the specific instance of this, during the stream.

Now what I'm curious is, why even give them money? What fucking necessity do people have to give any amount of money to a streamer, for a subscription? Emotes are worthless, badges that cost are paypig shameful tags (any badge, unless they gift it to you for free, like they gifted me the T&H tag on here), and the ability to chat, well, if they require you to spend just to talk, why are you even there?

Like you could say, it's only 5$, yeah, but it's also 5$ to burn them to ashes, or donate to charity, or make a 5$ paper plane (way more fun than donating).

Didn't care about any of that. I gave him money because I thought the videos were good. I still do but now I'll be getting them for free 😂

Bear in mind that these are people with no social skills at all. They rarely, if ever, venture outdoors. They don't talk to others face to face. A totally innocent, innocuous remark can come across like a personal attack to these clowns.

The reason why I switched to NewPipe (aside from just not wanting to have a youtube account anymore) is because I can turn off comments on videos and I can also not see any "trending" or "recommended" while using the app.
It's really sad it has gotten to this point, but when you realize all major websites right now are literally engineered to maximize engagement by making you angry, it felt like the right thing to do.
And it worked, to be fair.

I'm mad all the time, but not in the way where I'd pull this nonsense. This seems less normal anger more redditbrain anger if there was nothing offending happening. People like that will power trip and frame you as awful. I can only imagine the kind of shit the long term friend that randomly dropped me out of nowhere this year and tried making contact with him or anyone we mutually knew that's still fucking me up is spinning about me after some guy supposedly just told him to ban me from some thing we were both in. This years been the year from hell in more ways than I will elaborate for me. Stagnant, rotting, being smarmed at by small souled bugmen types, etc.

I do agree people are a lot more "angry" but most of it seems performative for power trips rather than genuine anger like the kind I deal with constantly. A while ago I was telling someone a funny story about when a friend of mine found out the DBZ manga got censored int he US to remove characters mouths or lips in some scenes and then I got the "That never happened" and then I show an example and it's "why do you care? also you're probably pretty racist honestly" smarm shit that then likely escalated after I left to just framing me as some foe to get mad at. over really dumb trivial water cooler level talk about funny inconsistent book censorship

From someone I was checking stream vidya recently, there were people int he chat doing 9 month sub things while making shitposts about babies being born. I've seen people that have money use it for shitpost donations which is better IMO than the parasocial paypig "READ MY MESSAGES!!!" shit but still a waste of money to a degree.

They are not streaming for you. They are streaming for their own benefit, dingbat. Your favorite streamer will throw you and your entire family and pets into a volcano if it ups their income.
