Why is it considered bad to teach schoolkids about LGBT issues but people have no problem with religious indoctrination?

homeschools (not even a private religious school) their kids into being socially
Its amazing how often this lie gets repeated because tv keeps telling them that's how it is.

Can look at many lolcow threads and see that they were the product of the public school system to see how false the idea that school helps with social interaction is.

Public school is nothing more then a kid meat grinder in a glorified prison/daycare where kids have no rights but to do what they are told and get indoctrinated to the current agenda.

I mean the last point is fair, but private schools exist too and often don't have a gun pointed at their head by the state or social ideologues about certain subjects.

In a lot of ways, the public schooling system was (and still is, from what I hear) complete hell, but when you're comparing that to finally graduating high school, at least then you are forced to interact with people or had an actual chance to talk to friends. At least the social aspect of the school system reaped shame to the people who sowed for it, while on the Internet they're left completely to their own devices. Chris Chan may be be an awkward creep, but it would be worse if he was homeschooled. I haven't seen many people who were homeschooled that didn't turn out socially retarded in one way or another.

I had a relative who homeschooled their daughter for a year, and it was complete hell for the both of them. If you thought that the current situation with transportation (and how many places are unwalkable or unsafe to walk in) and the suburbs forcing people to stay inside all day was bad for someone's mental health and society as a whole, imagine if homeschooling was widespread considering the IQ of your average American. If you already live in a terrible household, that's going to be an even worse prison as there's no escape or relief. Not every parent is a good teacher, let alone a good parent, and that will just make that relationship worse.

You can say that parents aren't always right or responsible (look at how many of them are too lazy to block websites or monitor their kid's activity), while also saying that the public school system is being held at gunpoint by retarded fags and that it's desperately due for reform.

The language, culture, traditions, mannerisms, your own psychology are all rooted in religion one way or the other and often in subtle ways and sometimes without you even knowing it or noticing it. And just because you are from Asia doesn't mean you are immune from it because it spread across the whole world with people like Thomas The Apostle who went to India to spread the gospel, or the early Chinese christians, or the Portuguese and English colonizers in Japan.

How this literal epic compares with fucking LGBT faggotry? Oh, you have to wear diapers because you blow your asshole, or you have aids and you want to donate blood for some reason, or people that look at you funny. That is very bad indeed, but I'm sorry to break it to you, but everyone has problems, yours aren't important. Especially when you people have no sympathy for the people who are paying for your faggotry.

Grew up hugely surrounded by christianity, even to the point of opt-out taxation etc. Literally never saw it pushed or forced in any way in debates or political decision making. It's around, people practice it, but nothing to the extremes of Americans. Makes you thonk.

It also has historical relevance. Troondom does not.
