Why is it important not to be a LOLcow?

It's important to not be a lolcow because by definition, they're people who don't learn from their own mistakes.

I'd add that the vast majority of lolcows aren't able to recognize that they're making mistakes. DSP is the most obvious example imho, dudes never made a mistake in his life all those times it looked like a mistake it was bad mechanics, bugged reality or lag.

You can be quirky or counter culture all you want but if you don't recognize how that affects your situation or the disposition of those around you, you're probably a lolcow.

Most people say that it’s important to not to conform what society says however, for some when one follows their own virtues they become, as we call them, LOLcows.
So why is it a bad thing to be considered as such? Why is it a bad thing to be ridiculed for what one does?
Or in other words, why is not a good thing to be this guy: :neckbeard:

This is one of the main dichotomies people face psychologically: wanting to conform to the group or society, yet be different in a way that you stand out (hoping to be looked up to). Becoming a lolcow or a target or ridicule is one of the worst fears most people have. Studies have found social embarrassment is equal to physical pain in disturbance to the mind. Its kind of funny how much neurosis and motivation there is around status.

Can you think of one notable lolcow whose behavior doesn't affect anyone else? Who seems like a genuinely nice person? Lolcows aren't just people who behave eccentric on the internet - they're normally tormenting people and or animals with their attitude, legal threats, and other provocations.

You're not entirely wrong, I'd argue a lot of the people on here wade more into the Boogie realm of "let me be a nuance to everyone around me" more than the Ulillillia "harmless spastic".

I think it is important only to not be a horrorcow. At first when i've seen this page that lolcow bussiness looked actually good (just to get some money for my future - yeah earning money not from physical work in country like Poland is hard and i mean it), but then i've seen Susan Schofield Cabana and yep not going that way.

So far i'm left radicalized from kiwifarms that only one correct way to fight for freedom is to die like martyr instead shooting up all people like Brenton. If my country doesn't allow freedom and you must live in fear of police taking you away even though you didn't do harm to anyone or anything bad at all (one small plant of cannabis for example is like you would murder someone) i don't feel like it is worth to live in this world. There is no one who would fight for my case and this is sad. People feel better leaving Poland than changing it, but the problem is that whole Europe is becoming crazy and strict nazi-place like Poland so there might be no place to run away for in future.

Nonconformity is fine under the right circumstances. Being a creative thinker, not holding opinions purely because other people do - that’s all great. But it’s worthless if you don’t know how to apply it.

Say you decide to abandon a traditional career path in favour of trooning out and e-begging. That’s nonconformist, but it’ll leave you lonely and poor.

There's a big difference between being comfortable with yourself, and being exceptional. Let's take a look at a few...

If you're overweight, attempting to lose it but still being happy with who you are, cool. Nothing wrong with that. Unless you become like Amberlynn Reid, a gross hambeast who acts like everyone else is bigoted and close-minded while stuffing your craw full of Big Macs and washing it down with a gallon of Coke, while proclaiming yourself to be gorgeous. Then you're a lolcow.

Everyone gets angry at losing at video games sometimes. You get frustrated, drop a few f-bombs and try again. We can all relate. Then there's DarkSydePhil who in his late 30s tard rages for the world to see, is absolutely abyssmal at vidya but thinks he's the king rather than take criticism to help improve and smells like Hot Pocket grease and swamp ass. Then you're a lolcow.

We all have either lost a boyfriend/girlfriend, or get lonely being single. It sucks, but you work on your game, look good, smell good and get out there and talk to people. You can't expect a partner to fall into your lap sitting at home stagnating. Then there's Chris, and....well, we all know how Chris handles relationships.

Hope I'm making some sort of sense.

If you succeed you aren't a lolcow. If you try to be a normie but fail, you aren't terribly interesting. It's only if you don't conform plus you're a complete loser to the point that it's funny that you're actually a lolcow. Weirdos who are succeeding are not lolcows.
