Why is there a Gingercaust happening in media and IRL?

The original April O'Neil was black. But her design was cool and very trendy for the mid 80s. That cartoon version is just subpar in comparison. She is named after a real person, also black. So I don't think it really counts as a gingercaust. I understand though, since I grew up with the original cartoon and didn't know there was a comic that existed before that until some years later. But she really shouldn't be on this list because she originally was black. Unless you are specifically talking about the cartoon, where she remained white for a long time.

Editing to clarify that I meant the black cartoon version with the problem glasses is subpar. Not the original cartoon version with red hair. She's cool.

I don't even think it's an anagram thing. Gingers are more likely to be ancillary characters than protagonists, so they're easier to replace with a minority cast member. DEI initiatives mandate that there must be at least one token darkie or else you don't get funding, so the ginger character is often first on the chopping block. You look at the original picture, 29/32 of those characters aren't the protagonists, and of the three that are (Annie, Batgirl, Ariel), the Batgirl movie got shitcanned before it could even release.

I've no preferences but gingers always hit a spot with me, and once you start looking around for them, it's kinda nuts how prevalent they are here despite being a minority. To think people bullied them as kids and now thirst after them like some sort of unicorn.

Maybe they just prepare them to be freaks who want to be choked and spat on, by choking and spitting on them. Hm. :)

Jews hate redheads. The hollywood jews won't put a redhead in their movies if they can help it.

The ancient rivalry between Angloids and Celts has gone global. Blue-eyed gingers are the last obstacle to the swarthy Anglo's world domination.

If you're going to argue for the Talmudic viewpoint, it seems kind of remiss to not bring up the Edomites as the raison d'être for their ginger-hatred. Lilith is one thing, but she's far from being as prominent of a figure in the scripture as Esau.

That implies a kind of religiosity that I don't think Hollywood types generally have, though. A lot of them are "lapsed" or "spiritual but not religious," and if they're Jewish they engage with it culturally, but don't go to temple or observe the Sabbath or what have you.

It's a problem of logistics rather than a concerted effort toward erasure. Filming in the day time is challenging with gingers, as their pure white skin reflects the sun in bizarre ways and often screws up shots. Additionally, if they are in the sun for too long, they dehydrate and die shriveling up into gingsins, well-documented by science. Frequently you'll see gingsin mummies at museums, but they're often not nearly as ancient as the claims. Conversely, if you film scenes with them at night, they glow and create an effervescent translucent effect that also stands out tremendously from normal people. They also can not eat or get wet after midnight and must be invited inside buildings by the owner to enter any domicile or business.

The juice just isn't worth the squeeze, which is why they're being replaced by blacks who have absolutely no problem entering buildings without an invite.
I thought Egyptian mummies were ancient, but they looked rather... Fresh?

Them being shriveled up gingers makes sense... Especially since some of the newer ones have Tay tattoos, Nirvana tshirts and some even have their earbuds still inside.

He was alright. He wasn't beat up too bad. It's not like these days where kids team curb stomp eachother and shit.
Well im glad for that
I figured it had something to do with that but nobody's ever really given me a solid explanation for the reason.

Honestly, I could see it being even dumber than that, like some casting director got told he needed to cast a black person in the role and he picked the redhead because he thought it was funny and other casting directors caught on and ran with it.

As much as Hollywood is fucked and all aboard with that kind of shit, I imagine the people actually working get frustrated by it sometimes. I would think at least some casting directors take pride in being able to cast the parts well and choose good actors for their roles. I'm sure when the boss tells them to make it gay and put a nigger in it they get frustrated and trollish because they know it fucks things up and probably don't really want to.

Then again, I'm probably just being overly optimistic and naive.
I mean it could have just been started as a one off and it set off a domino effect. One casting director got told he had to replace someone with a black guy, he chose the red head at random, then it just became a trend. Maybe some of it is malicious, but a lot could be the lemming effect, just following the lead of everyone else.

The ghost carriers fear untainted. We are the clear of skin and eye, free of the burden of melanin and the evil spirits you call "souls", and filled with the red fire of mankind's rebirth.
