You can format the pic by attaching and selecting the appropriate option. The phone app thing via Brave misses some features, but nothing significant.
I do archive, where needed. Some Daily Mail or Grauniad where they fix their spelling and grammar probably doesn't merit it.
There are standard precautions. Pre-pay phone purchased without using my name and address. There are also phone VPNs, but also listed, plus that magazine mightn't be wholly trustworthy.

Fake news all of it, well to a very substantial degree. Some are lazy, but I'm fairly sure there's laptop and desktop users here who don't even use a VPN, and are also obnoxious and lazy. There are some matters where all right thinking men follow a particular line or spectrum or school of thought. I do hate harshness, but some people are frankly wilfully thick. I've had personal computers and allied devices for some time, definitely 1990 in respect of a PC (I'm mindful of static and earthing when fitting SSDs, which are the size of thumb nails now, for I dislike deleting stuff).
