Both Christians and troons:
Here we go (I should point out these are not mutually exclusive groups, there are some very confused people that would meet most definitions of Christian).
- believe in an imaginary "soul" or "inner self" that is separate from their physical body
I think you're referring more to the Gnostic idea of the flesh being evil, the spirit being good. Authentic Christianity has always believed in the Resurrection of the body, with Jesus being the first fruits. We recognize the truth that we are a flesh-spirit composite, that the separation of them leaves neither complete, as opposed to the gnostic idea of the body as a prison, which is much closer to the transexual/transhumanist lie.
- believe in psuedoscientific nonsense based on unreliable sources
Have you heard of the replication crisis? Does believeing in modern "evidence based" medicine put you in the same camp? If not, why not?
- oppose dissenting opinions and "excommunicate" those who dare to disagree
Have you heard of the phrase "devil's advocate"? Yes those who teach lies or refuse to repent are cast out in the hope they recognize the mistakes they are making.
- want to indoctrinate children into their anti-science and anti-reality beliefs
Teaching children they are loved by God and that they are created in His image and likeness is hardly equivalent to teaching children gender nonsense. You are assuming your view of reality is correct. I pray you repent while you can.
- complain they are being "oppressed" if anyone points out how ludicrous their views are
Persecution and martyrdom are common in historic and modern Christianity, in much of the world today. Being mocked is hardly oppression, being arrested for peacefully protesting outside an abortion mill is oppression. Trannys & their allies tend to be shielded and promoted by the powers in much of the West, in stark contrast to Christians of traditional values.
- think their personal beliefs should affect the laws of entire countries
That is laughable. Christians have our Lord and God saying render unto Caesar that which is Caesar, and to God that which is God's . Theocracy is the Islamic way, not the Christian way. Oddly enough their is a good parallel with the Iranian branch of Islam and their bloody public mortification and the medicalized mutilations of troons.
- defend awful people who committed crimes (Christians defending a mass-murdering God, troons defending child groomers)
God is not "people", He is the Creator and source of all life, not able to murder in the human sense. He can stop protecting you from your enemies and allow them to kill you, he can justly order his faithful to punish, including putting to death.
He refrains from intervening to prevent death of all who are not assumed into Heaven alive, the method of that death doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things, outside of judgement (of ourselves and others). not if we exist for eternity with an infinite amount of joy or suffering.
Yes the Church (and other Christian organizations) has failed to protect the vulnerable as it should. That is not comparable to troon groups actively normalizing the grooming of children as education or entertainment.
