Why isn't knowing how to drive a mandatory skill taught in high school as soon as someone turns 16? Why, as a society, do we find it acceptable that adults should be allowed to function in the world without being able to take responsibility for their own transportation? Keeping retarded people from driving isn't an excuse because literal brain dead retards drive every day. Also, UK and eurofaggots in your little make believe, driving hostile countries need not bother responding.

Everyone's situation is different and in some situations knowing how to drive may not be necessary. It's not a bad thing to learn how to drive on your accord instead of being forced to do it through some half assed class in school. I think the problem is basic requirements for getting a license in the US are too lax. The few classes you're required to take don't really teach you proper car control.

Just because you can drive car doesn’t mean you should. Drink driving in Australia is a plague.

I can, legally, drive, but don’t, due to my habit of clipping dumb pedestrians.
