Why KF Isn't Really a "Bullying" Site

OP's argument made a lot less sense back when Kiwifarms did a great job of SEO. Thats all out the window now, Google purposely hides this place, so it makes a bit more sense in the modern context. Sadly, my posts in and following of lowcow threads are very low right now. Pretty much just the deviantart thread. Laughing at shitty smut isn't really bullying, I think most of the people mocked would even agree (except those who have mental disabilities, of course,) and say that devoid of the boner response their art is funny or poorly done on the face of it.

I've never considered the Farms a "Bullying" site, probably because I don't associate internet shitlordery with "Bullying"
Call me fucking crazy but I just cannot for the life of me combo the two together.

I genuinely don't fucking get the claim that things are the way they are these days because "kids weren't bullied enough". The experience I had as a small kid in the 90s-early 2000s was having a gang of kids show up, beat me to a pulp and then tell staff I was "bullying" them which then got my ass marked as a bad person by the zero tolerance policies. If I fought back shit would get worse punishment wise so I had to basically sit there and take it like that scene in Joker sometimes if my short ass didn't want to risk getting fucking written up for punching and biting back. Seen a lot of people over the years with the same kind of life experience and yet the people who lived through it come to the braindead conclusion of " kids aren't bullied enough anymore!" instead of recognizing the abuse patterns. Did they somehow conveniently get enough brain damage that they forgot that exploitation method those gangs used?

Since that time a lot has changed, and yet stayed the same. I've observed behaviors of genuinely shitty people that travel in mobs sometimes and I see they use the fucking twitterspeak shit that sparked up in 2012 and hit the ground running everywhere post 2016. A lot of self admitted bullies that pulled this shit back in the day have become "better" people (Twitter activists) and trooned out or become the soy chugging "quirky nerdy haaha" hipster types. They are STILL fucking seeking the praise they got for being actual shitheels feigning morality for asspats from, and potential future seats in places of higher authority. This isn't just tied to one political group either those 2 examples were just the ones you'll hear a lot more of online these days.

The issue isn't they weren't "bullied", it's the fact they never got told "no, you're a fucking liar" like the people they target get called. Zero tolerance policies and their consequences have been disastrous for the modern world, but not because of them "stopping bullying", something they never actually even did successfully. It ended up conditioning kids into a fucking constant state of neurotic social anxiety and creating a bunch of rat ass wannabe middle management tyrants.

Tl;Dr, Not a bullying site, bullying never left schools, it just got worse and metastasized into society as a whole due to little shits becoming bigger shits the more they got away with to the point we got people that will gleefully act like you personally murdered someone you follow for entertainment online if it means your life might get ruined.

People here don't a-log or cowtip. They just observe and record what people post on the internet about themselves, and all for free.
Some people here absolutely do, and it serves nobody to deny that this happens. It is not and should not ever be overtly supported but is a natural consequence of this site existing and being available to the public at large. You can acknowledge that this is going to happen, as a consequence of giving people access to information, and still maintain that the juice is worth the squeeze. To me, that is the only honest approach.
This place is a form of memory for personalities on the internet. Specifically, cataloging the dumb, reprehensible shit they have done in a way that ensures it remains attached to their identity. This is valuable and harmful, all dependent on the consumer of that information and what they then freely elect to do with the information. If you're some random coming across some internet monstrosity for the first time, this kind of info lets you go into it eyes open, appropriately armed to defend yourself. Context matters, and a lot of internet personality grifting and exploitation depends on an audience that is ignorant to that context. There's also a healthy number of people that just want to keep up to date on retarded internet happenings because it's entertaining.
But there are absolutely speds here who a-log, cow tip, and touchy ze poo poo. It's unavoidable. You can't really control how information is consumed, that's up to the consumer. Still not a strong argument for suppressing information though, unless the harm vastly outweights any positive benefits. That's the realm of stuff like nuclear bomb designs, not internet dickhead documentaries.

For the users of the site no, because the site is anonymous and you could just call the other guy a nigger faggot if he pissed you off.

If you are features on the site then just get off the internet and become a productive member of society instead and we'd just continue to the next person of interest.

I agree. All the individuals and groups mocked on this website willingly exposed themselves on the Internet. They assumed no one would call them out on their bullshit. Thus, here we are. These assorted losers are dealing with the fallout of posting all their intimate details online.

I admit, I was afraid of KF back in the day when they started posting articles about it. I was always scared because the media really managed to convince me that this was a "criminal website designed to stalk people".
But after a while, I decided to lurk here as a guest for some time and didn't see anything special. It's just a website that stores other people's cringe moments that users can also express their opinions about it, no matter how politically incorrect they are.
The media really distorted a lot of things about KF and that's just sad.
It's not a bullying site and I see that now.

We are the equivalent of an Internet gossip website it just so happens that every other internet gossip website is heavily censored and that we are one of the few uncensored place on the internet where you can just talk about whatever the some people who don't even Post in any of the lolcow threads and only Post in the politics are gaming threads because every other part of the internet is incapable being used because if you say the wrong things you're going to get a bunch of barely literate troglodytes jumping down your throat

Considering how malicious we can be verbally even if what we’re doing isn’t illegal, if someone is cruel enough it can genuinely fall under hate speech and malicious language can be conflated with abuse on some level. Even if it isn’t strictly illegal there are human decency laws being breached. I mean many people here say illegal language that is punishable out in the real world. So yeah we are technically doing illegal shit all the time, it’s just not in the real world but yeah. ‘Hate speech’ which kf is definitely guilty of is illegal and we could be prosecuted technically.

>Why KF Isn't Really a "Bullying" Site
>Zoe Quinn has a higher body count than us
>trannies have bullied more gamer girls into going home than we did

There's nothing deep to think about here. It's who/whom thing, always has been. If KF stuck to threads on the Ralphamale and Nick Fuentes, it would be considered "punk yellow journalism" or some shit. Having threads on Keffals and Liz Dong Gone makes it "bullying." Sort of like how the difference between a "protest" and an "insurrection" is what you're protesting.

This site didn't exist before bullying and bullying wasn't invented here. Null made the argument long ago if people wanted to talk about Christian W.C. they would have made another site. Therefore there will always be a place on the internet for archiving and gossiping about eccentric people both celebrity and niche. I'd rather have a dedicated site which somewhat values my privacy then post on reddit, tweeter or 4chan.

KF is a hobby site, where the hobby is finding like minded people to exchange thoughts about retards online. Is gossiping bullying? It can be perceived as such, sure. If you mark my comment autistic, TMI or dumb I can choose to take offense and label it bullying.

Lolcows like Chris, Boogie, Wings, Cyrax, DSP, Ethan Ralph refuse to accept its their minds within their control so they generalize everything under a bullying umbrella and play the victim to continue doing ritual public humiliation for benefit? I wouldn't say benefit. It's for the attention.
