Have you ever seen Shinbone Alley? It's an animated film from the early 70's, the whole thing is on YouTube.

The animation is really grungy and beautiful, sort of like a Chuck Jones college film, and it's probably the most Jewish media I've ever seen. Makes Fiddler on the Roof look like Triumph of the Will. It's about a simp who tries to control the behavior of a vicious whore, and when he fails, he briefly attempts to incite a violent revolution to destroy society for not being nicer to said whore. This is regarded as well-meaning but ultimately an overreaction in the context of the film.

It's like a window into a kind of mind I don't understand.

Well, from what I recall reading a timeline of Jewish history, it went something like this:

>Jews move to new country and learn zero lessons
>repeat for thousands of years

This is primarily a modern invention. Jews didn't get a real ability to affect politics until getting equal rights after 1700+ (you can argue that some banker families had large economical power beforehand, but they were a tiny minority and there were other Christian groups with that power). And after that it was an easy scapegoat for past aristocrats to blame for their own incompetence.

Not to sound like a redditor but... what's ya'lls sources for some of this Jewish history?

The way Jews are always described on Deep Thoughts reminds me a little of the Kender in the Dragonlance setting, which, as 1d6chan points out, a race like that would be universally reviled and driven to extinction simply out of everyone else realizing what a threat to survival they are.

Autistic comparisons aside, the way Deep Thoughts always describe Jews strikes me as similar, but if they're really as bad as ya'll are always saying then I'm wondering why Hitler was the first guy to think to genocide them? It's more likely to be a combination of the structure of diaspora communities, their roles in moneylending and trade due to legal restrictions, and social friction caused by religious exclusivity and in-group cohesion.

True, but only the economic elite Jews (The worst kind of Jews) really fits that bill. Best Jews are the brilliant geniuses who do groundbreaking research or are great inventors. Judaism being transmitted through women instead pf ,em was an innovation to address the fact that Judean men were the least loyal to the tribe and had high IE marriage rates with local women wherever they went. That's pretty much the story behind most of the Ashkenazi's genetic make-up: Judean men married local roman women with a small splash of turkic, slavic, whatever.
