One of the most consistent messages I have found in the mainstream media is that the only reasons that people vote for Donald Trump are because they are stupid, evil, or both. I have never accepted this as a satisfactory answer. So I want to ask a few people who vote for Trump directly.

Why Trump? Especially, why Trump over any other Republican?

I'm not looking to rebut any arguments or persuade people to change their minds. I really just want to know your reasons.

It's been removed from youtube, but michael moore gave a pretty decent answer to this. You'll have to watch it on bitchute.

So has Chapelle:

Like how do you not know this after 8 years? I get that people were blindsided then, but you're still blindsided now? Have you been living under a rock? Real Osama Bin Laden, is that you?
Especially, why Trump over any other Republican?
Remember the 2016 election? If you didn't go for Trump, you would have gone for Jeb Bush, who had to beg audiences to clap. You would have had basicly the republican version of a Biden presidency, where you have a bumbling idiot figurehead as the other Bushes run the country. It would have been kind of humiliating. Or someone like Marco Rubio, who can do nothing but repeat the same phrases all the time. We've got some of those overly media trained puppets here in the Netherlands too.

But also Trump used the idea of a wall to beat other republicans. Because curbing immigration is something right wing americans care about, but established republican candidates don't. And as someone with a lot of experience in real estate, it seemed like something he could get done. Of course as soon as he used that as a battering ram to become the republican frontrunner, the next goal was to beat the democrats and that meant the opposite strategy. Instead of going very further right on some issues that are overlooked by establishment candidates, he now had to be somewhat more right wing to appeal to the centrist americans. As soon as he was an establishment candidate, he too dropped the wall and the real curbing on immigration.

Now the reason is because he's a proven "success", he has proven he can win and that helps convince a lot of people. Mainstream media still hates him and that convinces everyone that is cantankerous, disagreeable or generally unhappy with the directions things are going, which a lot of right wing americans are. He'd probably be really popular if he used the same strategy for left wing causes, but then the DNC would cut him out the way they did with Bernie and he couldn't have gotten elected.

In 2016, because the System needed to be shaken up. Also immigration was broken and he was the only one taking it seriously.

In 2020, because he managed to make a few good changes during his 1st term. Also the Democrats had spun up street violence, censorship, Covid tyranny, and an election steal.

In 2024, because HOLY FUCK have you seen what the other side has been doing for the last 8 years? I don't even expect him to accomplish anything, we just need someone who isn't actively trying to destroy the whole fucking world.

I personally would've preferred De Santis in this election, but given he hasn't just folded in response to the powers that be trying to ruin his life since he left office shows that he's not just a demoralization psyop, and it's probably radicalized him against the system that makes all our lives shit.

Reactions: Huh what?
Trump isn't my first choice due to his baggage, age, and chronic inability to surround himself with good people. He is going to be hampered and sandbagged as badly, if not worse, as his first term, and he might have a heck of a time getting anything accomplished. I don't think he will be super effective in certain areas, and his constant defensive aggression as opposed to picking his battles is a massive detriment. He is absolutely clueless in certain areas and often delegates to leeches, and that results in some extremely questionable policy. His support numbers are hardcapped at >~50%, making any truly ambitious accomplishments very hard to come by.

Having said that, I genuinely he does his best to fulfill his campaign promises, and does great in certain areas that are directly in his control. Financially he was great for me, he did his best to pick good Supreme Court justices, his immigration policies and rhetoric were vastly preferable to Generic Democrat X or Neocon X, his energy policy is wonderful, I like him on trade with China, I enjoyed his pushing back on globalism, he didn't start any new wars, I believe he is strong and feared internationally, and he is fairly entertaining. I genuinely find him pretty likeable.

The Republicans decided to rubber stamp Trump, baggage and all, and the Democrats decided to toss up Biden's feeble husk again, a globalist puppet candidate. The choice is pretty easy with that in mind, in my opinion.

Why won't people vote for the party that tells them white men are evil oppressors? Trump could be a literal ham sandwich running against Biden & his team of sick fucks, and still pull 40% of the vote based on that alone.

Plus it is funny seeing how many of Trump's "evil racist policies" have been implemented by the left lol

It's simple. The answer is Obama. Obama was a horrific President who did a lot of bad and only the people who paid attention, noticed. Apparently Trump noticed and decided to run. The other factor was Hillary. If they had run anyone other than Hillary Clinton, and didn't rig the primary to boot Bernie, then make no mistake Trump would've lost in 2016. Hillary is just that hated by Americans everywhere.

Then Trump won. The veil got pulled up, everyone saw what our government was. Trump did such a good job in his first few years as President, it made Americans everywhere realize that government is a bunch of swamp creatures who want us dead. America saw the government for what it truly was and resolved to change it with more Trump's. That's exactly what happened, and the rest of the swamp saw this was never going away.

Honestly, it could've been anyone. Trump just happened to be the done who did it.
