I remember years and years ago checking out Pewdiepie and he was doing a Amnesia Lets play. But he was so fucking annoying with his fake voices and 'wacky' jokes that I haven't watched anything about him since.

However, the shit fest people are throwing over him as some sort of leader of the alt right is fucking hilarious.

He barely does anything gameplay related these days, i think 90% of his content now boils down to laughing at memes.

I watch his videos sometimes. Not particularly funny, but he does hit the fun sometimes and it's actually made me LOL a few times. What he does best is his PewNews videos. That's how younger kids are aware of Article 13, Dankula, and all of the stuff that sounds boring but they should be knowing anyway.

I can see why they hate Pewdiepie and it has nothing to do with the nazi jokes. They hate him on principle:

He's hot
He's male
He's white
He's straight
He's independent
He's economically independent
He has a pretty nice girlfriend he will marry soon
He has charisma, reason why people subscribed to him in first place

And, most importantly, he dislikes Social Justice and he's quite aware of what's happening in the world right now. A lot of youtubers like him too because he can say what the others think but can't say or would lose money.

These people hate him due to a mixture of jealousy for what he is and what he as done and jealousy over his big platform he's never gonna lend to them to use.

Just checked, he has 94.5 million. The Christchurch shooting didn't do it. There's no way, but reaction to this kind of article garnered him six million more followers in the last three to four weeks. It's the same kind of cluelessness that makes these fuckers not understand why Trump was elected.
