Okay so for many many years now I have been playing a mobile game called wild tamer. If you are currently asking "what is wild tamer?" let me explain.

Basis of the game
Wild tamer is a mobile game made by my favorite company 111% games, The game is simple, you start out as a small little druid (pagan af) and are given one task, kill the big bad. (pictured below)

So how do I do that?
You need to brave into the wilderness and knockout an animal then proceed to do 1 of 2 choices, tame the wild, or skin it alive in its dazed state for recourses that you can then use to make armors and weapons out of. once you do either of the 2, you will then be forced to amass a small army of animals and fight the mega boss of every island until you climb to the ultimate big bad on the so called "volcano prison"

Explanation over
I'm not here to try and convince you guys to get this game, but what I am here to do is discuss this game with those of you who know of the game, and who have played, or even beaten the game. as to why I am making a thread on here? well I'm not going to use reddit and talk in the un active wild tamer subreddit so I am going to make it here. Anyway, if you are still somehow reading this and this thread was not smitten down because I don't know how to line my thoughts in a straight line so that others and understand them, then you might be interested in what I have to say about the game (probably not)

So for the first thing I want to say about this game in this thread is that I am currently in a rock and a hard place. I have made it to the fish island and have realized that the strength of each hero animal is not going to get to the point where anything will be easily farmable, this game is way to fucking balanced, especially on that island, so I'm currently sitting in the thinking position on how to advance further, and I think I might have figured it out. So what I am about to say is probably not news to anyone who has played the game possibly longer than me, However I have come up with a simple solution that might make crabs, hermit, sea star and clown fish easier to handle. the strategy is to hunt, kill and evaporate every single stegosaurus in the Mount Draco area, and just level up the hero far past what the crabs maximum HP is, now I have not tried this and I am not sure it works, but I have a feeling it is quite easily achievable. But why stego you ask? well for one simple reason, you can actually buff the stego with masks and the little badges thing, that will surely surpass the stegos great attack and HP stats far past the crustation's, and as for why the stego, well it is simply the most common animal you can find that is relitively close to the same power as any of the animals in the ocean.

I hope more wild tamer lovers find this and wish to add what they may have done to beat the game or if my little WIP strat above helped anyone at all, and like always if this thread is a splash of un read-able garbage I appologize.

Ok I will bite. What are the differences between normal and Next age version?
If I'm being completely fucking honest I have no idea, I literally JUST found out about it today when I was researching how to push past the current island I was stuck on. Me thinks its a completely different company wanting to make a bigger and better version, just from one look of the game I noticed it had a very better animation than the "O.G"

Okay, here's the solution.

It's a mobile game. You need to spend money.
you would immediately think so right? But I made it as far as I did without spending any money, I did how ever use a cheese strat to amass a small loan of a million dollars how ever. If you advance your clock by two hours, this hourly sum of gold is given to you for free, by changing the time ahead by two hours, it counts the clock down like two hours had actually passed irl.

So Im assuming so far that no one really knows much about this game so I will be documenting my finds about strategy's for this game on the off chance someone tries to find strategy's and gets sent here instead of that useless subreddit.

So on the topic of strategy's I hypothesized that if one were to hunt approximately 6 million stegosaurus to upgrade the attack and Health of the stegosaurus hero, they could use either mask that provides a buff to reptiles, that they would have a very easy time dealing with the crustaceans and doing ultimately the same thing. So what I did, was a short little test run of sorts, I purchased 8 tyrannosaurus and dawned the Turtle mask which I currently had a +6% buff to reptiles with. Now mind you when animals are a lot bigger like the Trex, they wont be able to all attack one target at the same time, but from the damage they were doing, it was quite supprising how well it was working, I do not have actual numbers but the little hp bar was depleting in a swift amount of time. I have not gotten around to farming the stego, but part of me is scared it will be all for not and the real answer of the question "how do I get off this dang fish island" will be to just sit down and painstakingly catch every fish required to make the weapons of said area. I am also scared that the volcano prison will have the same sort of mechanic.

update on progress, I previously stated that I was not going to grind the octopus whip or hide but I did and I realized its not that hard if you just go after the tame-able animals and ignore the rest, No stego army needed. I did have the fish bone mace and the fish scale armour, the two first things the angler sells to you. I have also discovered that the mid boss in the area are really just regular weak creatures just with boosted health, it doesnt feel like you are fighting any of the previous mid boss animals. I have found a recent annoyance how ever, and thats the artifacts to summon the bosses, but ive come up with a way to by pass farming for them! See they are A tier artifacts, buying the 210 artifact gacha gives you 3 B tier artifacts, if you have good enough rng, you can merge the B artifacts to make an A.

A little explination on what combining artifacts does: when you merge an artifact of the same tier together, the game tells you the percentage chance you have for it to succeed and move up a tier. It goes C -> 50% B-> 22% and finally a A -> 10%. what happens if you fail? well you are given a random artifact of grade you were merging together. Now why is that important? When merging two B's together you need to be ready to fail, and its okay if you do, you just gotta stay motivated and keep the grind on, but when you succeed, you will get a random A, if you have 2 A's you can merge them and almost always fail, but with that, you can get the appropriate boss summoning artifact for free without grinding for it! Its quite the process but it certainly beats farming the mid bosses who summon once every 15 minutes.

end of progress report

So which version should I try?
honestly, I would have to say the original, But you are gonna have to be patient. Also you dont have to worry about ads popping up unless you actually click on something that has ads. but if you dont want any at all just get the lock down app if you are on ios

Progress update on my theories: so far so good. for the past few days I have been hunting and skinning animals for the past few days and have amassed a small fortune in diamonds gold and parts, I have also taken notice that you can use the save and load feature to help you essentially re roll your purchases, only problem is the sneaky devs made it so you can only load after an hour.

But I have also found myself getting side tracked while trying to do many of what I mentioned were "strats" I have been just grinding a certain animal to get the elite versions of them, the hero's if you will, a lot stronger, that animal if you care at all is the lionfish, who is quite the glass cannon to be fair. Either way I'm trying to collect mid bosses for a boss artifact also, instead of trying to re roll every hour but that's just my personal preference, if you want to skip the hunting and what not, you can by doing The merging strategy combined with save loading to re roll your merge outcomes.

BIG news, HUGE NEWS even, I have struck gold in this game, the save and load mechanic can be glitched!
so get this, if you have not made it to the mermaid island yet, in the mermaid island there is a man who is right outside of your cave who I've called the angler (don't actually know his name) And he can give you weapons and armor for the fish you can find and catch around the map. Well there's a cheeky little move you can do with his shop and I'm going to explain how to do it:
step 1: fill your tame slots with any fish/mammal you need for what ever thing you need from the anglers shop
step 2: save your game using the save mechanic in the pause screen
step 3: fill the thing you are needing
step 4: Load your save to get all those fish you used back.
step 5: check the anglers shop to see that the amount of fish you deposited is still there and you are able to fill it again
pretty good so far right? it gets better.
step 6: open the menu and try to speed tap the load button before the 1 hour timer goes into play, if you are having problems with that position your finger right over the button in preparation to tap it. Oh and if you miss the first time you tried this then its so over.....only kidding you can literally just enter your cave and try again and do that until you eventually get it.
step 7: profit

My progress so far on this eureka moment is that I have the piece of venison for the shark boss, now all I need to do is get the hammer and whale shaped sea shell and just figure out a strategy to beat the bosses. A little bit about the bosses: The shark boss spawns multiple enemy sharks hammer head and sword nose, the squid has longer reach and the whale is just a tank I think. I have a few problems how ever, see, when you want to initialize the fight, you need the corresponding boss item to summon them, that's all well and good but I realized there are artifacts that help towards killing them, I have a blue whale sigil that makes it so that all damage to the blue whale boss is doubled, well how am I to use that if I specifically need the horn to summon him, unless you are able to leave when he shows up and come back, I have not tried this, but all I know is if you die and go back to the last known location of the boss he wont be there so I am worried it wont work like that, who knows.

Yesterday, utilizing an army of 30 otters the full octopus garb (hat, robe and staff) I slayed the octopus and I honestly do think the octopus mask makes it easier.

What I did was travel to the octopus and waited around the entrance where nothing spawns to regen health using the koi ( it was one dollar leave me alone) and then knocked on its hut angering the beast within to emerge and wish death upon me, with my expert dodging mechanics I ran away like a scared little coward and it chased me, how ever, I infact was not scared, nor a coward, I brought it into open area (roughly a few foot steps away from the hut in the hallway) and surrounded it with the otters, as they tossed their oysters or waht ever it is they throw, at the octopus I stood in the side lines trying to dodge the stalactites that were attempting to become stalagmites on my soft, fragile body. once the deed was complete as the cave continued to rain heavy rocks ontop of me I tamed the octopus and ran to the portal that was made at the collapsed hut of the octopus. I proceeded to do this 2 more time, each getting easier as I learned to stay as far away from the raining rocks, that and the octopus I tamed had its amazing strangle ability where anything inflicted with said curse is damaged rapidly for a few seconds.
Now with one boss down I look to the other 2 and try to decide If otters are the way to go, or not.

Update, fuck me. I've hit the biggest rock hard wall I have yet, After killing the octopus I have not been able to figure out a method for killing shark or blue whale, its almost torture trying to combine different animals and what not, I tried all dragons and they get stomped for being too slow to attack, tried otter, too much hp on whale and not enough damage on otters and the shark just swarms naturally so its useless, not only that but I have figured out any tricks to killing the shark swarm is useless cause the artifact slot is essentially locked. the only thing I could do is masks, which are not too effective. I'm stuck and I cannot find anyone else notes on the matter that are at all relevant. I'm so close to tasting the sweet sweet volcano island and then playing the new game but, I seriously cannot figure anything out, I've just recently figured out that, get this, the glass cannon lion fish can fucking obliterate dragons so I assumed they would be good for the bosses, no. they are not durable enough for that. So until I figure something out Im lost.

Okay so huge news, I figured out how to kill the blue whale and might have a theory on how to kill the shark.

Not yesterday but the day before I beat the whale in a war of attrition, I waited around till night to start the summoning, I then faugh the whale till I had half of my animals left, To be completely honest I do not remember which animal I used, I think it was otters, either way Once I hit the half mark I simply went around taming the wild sharks and found the whale again and finished the rest of its hp, I'm thinking of doing the same for the shark but this time preparing in advance by farming the current hero animals I have till their attack is around 4k.

thats about it, I have not made an attempt on the sharks life yet but fuck am I optimistic about the upcoming fight.

You will never guess what happened! I finally beat the shark, How I did it was first assault the shark with 28 otters a whale and a octopus, I actually got it pretty low and If it were not for its horde that summons I could have killed it, Either way what I did was sort of panic and run away when all my animals where killed, all the while It was spewing out sharks at an accelerated rate which flocked the whole area, but there were 2 things I noticed, the first was there was tamable sharks just walking around, singular little hammer heads or saw sharks, and two, every now and then the shark would spawn a flock of ALLIED sharks, and just kill them. I have no idea this could happen but it was cool to see, either way what I did was walk around and pausing a lot thinking of strategy's and finally came up with the idea to mob the single sharks walking around, tame them and drag the shoal of sharks swarming the bigger one and then just quickly kill him, it took like 15 minutes in total but I finally did it and I am now on volcano island

spoilers for volcano island:
It is a lot different from any other island and has a mechanic that you must kill everything on screen before moving on, pretty cool anyway however! Haven't dived too deep into it from there but It certainly does have some cool looking variants the already found animals, all labeled "evil"

Idk if anyone has been keeping track of this little thing I made, but I am here to say after a while of radio silence that the game has been on the back burner while I do more important life stuff, ill eventually go back to playing and updating this shitty little thing eventually, but just not in the foreseeable future
