Will Chris always be there?

Well, he'll still use the internet, long term. Just like he'd continue to use video games and his telephone. The important part is whether or not it'll be public (or at least accessible to us). The answer to that is no.

Weather or not he'll do anything lulzy again remains to be seen. I for one hope he plans on making another assault on TheGamePlace. Let's see how leniant the court is on him given his bawwwtism when he strikes out for the third time.

Chris is reaching out more to people on Facebook now, even it it's only people he knew peripherally in high school. It's possible that someone could infiltrate his friends list, but that's all I'm going to say about that at this point.

I"m going to wander a little bit OT here to make another observation. Whether or not Chris has a large or small presence on the Internet isn't going to fundamentally change his social interactions. Since leaving the Internet, he's been banned from almost all of the public places where he used to loiter. Chris, being Chris, will get into some kind of trouble again, and we'll hear about it one way or another. If he whines about it on Facebook, it will probably get leaked to us. If he does something noteworthy enough to make the papers, we'll hear about that too.

I am also wondering just how much of Chris's new found judgement and restraint regarding his Internet use has to do with Anna and / or other enablers /ass-patters. I'm willing to be that even Anna has her limits, and may just throw up her hands at some point and say 'fuck it'. I don't know about her, but I'd eventually grow weary of Chris's almost constant need for validation and general whining, pleading for advice, expecting people to fix his problems for him etc.

Anna may, at some point, find herself involved in a relationship with a significant other, leaving her less time for Chris. (It could happen.)

Not exactly sure where I'm trying to go with this, so I'll stop here.

Chris is using privacy settings now. They'll be able to get his high school group postings, which might be amusing, but it won't be useful long term.

Nah, he's banned from a handful of places he'd like to go, and they're usually chains and he just goes to a different one. The bans, while they do piss Chris off, they're not a big issue in practical terms.

None of Chris' current judgement on his internet behavior comes from Anna. His relationship with Anna is very strange. She's not trying to encourage him to do the right thing or anything like that. She doesn't even bring up the subject with him. Anna focuses strongly on "trolls = bad, chris = good." That's almost the entirety of it.

His current judgement is mostly his own paranoia, plus probably concern about his high school friends on facebook. As hard as it might be to believe, this is entirely Chris. Sometimes Chris isn't a retard.

Double post: Oh, and unfortunately, our spy doesn't have access to Chris' facebook anymore. Chris removed him. Thankfully he still had his browser open when it happened, that's how we got the breast cancer post and the picture of Barb. We might be able to get back into Chris' good graces, but I wouldn't count on it. But who knows, Chris removed our spy before and we managed to get back in.

Knowing Chris has been browsing this forum lately, is it a good idea to be admitting this? I mean, maybe if Chris removed a number of people at the same time it would be OK but if he solely removed the spy isn't this confirming to Chris he was the spy? I guess I don't know the specifics of the situation; was Chris already sure who the spy was when he removed him and later re-added him last time?

Well, with Chris going through this high school thing, I think there's enough activity on his friends list to mask who our spy is. Plus Chris might be on this forum, but I don't know how frequently he browses it. He's pretty lazy, you know. And last time, Chris thought he guessed the spy last time, but the spy managed to persuade Chris to re-add him.
