Marvel was a unique situation since it got big before "Current Year" began in earnest and Kevin Feige made sure to have everything planned out in advance for the initial three phases to make sure it would get people to tune in every year and consoom. Now we've hit the end of Phase 3 and a fourth phase has been greenlit with no real aim or direction and if any of their big-budget titles bombs before the X-Men can make a proper debut, the MCU is fucked.
The MCU is the one exception to "Get Woke Go Broke" because it was already set up to be strong before woke was even a thing in wider mainstream culture and the one thing that kept it going strong is largely resolved
The beardos and dangerhairs aren't enough to keep it going on their own no matter how hard and how much they consoom, especially in a post-Corona world. Normies showing up every summer to see how it would all end is what kept it going and they got their payoff with Endgame last year.

Dude, we know politics and news media will still go to shit, but entertainment media is a different issue.
COVID-19 is a game-changer there. If it weren't for the pandemic, woke culture would be here to stay in the entertainment and pop culture if Biden still won. But thanks to the virus and the misery of 2020, even the impending Biden presidency won't save it.
The wokeness is a phase in that specific sub-section of media because it's not profitable and Corona has ratfucked these companies financially. Plus, if you want people to consoom again and resume the bread and circuses more effectively, being apolitical and indulgent (AKA "edgy and problematic" instead of smugly pretentious and woke) is the best way to do it.
Answering your earlier posts, the sperging over Gamergate is now pretty much confined to the clickbait mills which are still dying. The MSM stopped caring about it years ago.
Dubya's been forgotten for a while now and so has Nixon. The Crusades, Columbus, and the Confederacy only got dug back up as boogeymen because of the culture war BS of the 2010's. Before, they were either fringe issues (or non-issues in the case of the crusaders)

Does anybody in cali even go to college anymore? Everything from cost of living too tution cost an arm a leg and a kidney. trade school or less skilled/self taught employment like app dev and coding are the new gold in them thar hills.
Besides colleges have been forcing diversity training in courses like women's and black studies for decades and they always end up being the most useless degrees you can get

News media will only get worse from here on out, even if we end up with a last nanosecond SCOTUS ruling to keep Trump in office (which is highly unlikely to happy but ironically would be a very 2020 thing to occur)
Entertainment like TV shows, movies, and vidya are a different matter and I'm more cautiously optimistic on it solely because of how fickle trends and fads so often are and because of COVID-19's economic devastation giving some actual teeth to "Get Woke Go Broke" in the 2020's.
The only woke media in the "Current Year" zeitgeist of the 2010's that were 100% above board successful were the MCU movies, which were a special case where the franchise was already a juggernaut by the time this all began in earnest and everything up until Endgame was meticulously and carefully planned to get normies and beardo bugmen/dangerhairs alike to show up in droves every summer in addition to the Chinese market
Now all of that's been taken out of the equation. Phase 3 is over and ended on a high note so everyone who isn't a bearded or blue-haired consoomer has probably dropped out by now.
Disney overextended themselves with the Fox buyout and got double-fucked by COVID-19, and they can't even use the X-Men IP's in the MCU until after most of the aimless and largely unwarranted Phase 4 is over and they can't even milk Black Panther since Chad Boseman is dead while Captain Marvel's an unlikeable sow who needed Spider-Man to carry her.
Every other attempt at a woke sequel or reboot either bombed badly (Ghostbusters 2016, Terminator Dark Fate, Mass Effect Andromeda) or severely underperformed at best (Nu-Star Wars, Last of Us Part II)
Steven Universe might also be the only other "woke" IP that succeeded but it's over and done with and has played itself out by the end of it. Another key issue is that despite being the epitome of the "CalArts" Tumblr cartoons, Steven Universe is not a woke reboot or rehash of a preexisting property like Marvel, She-Ra, or the Disney Star Wars flicks. It's one of the few fully original woke media IP's that actually went anywhere at all.
An MCU movie that actually bombs at the box office will outright kill "woke" entertainment media in the long run. These movies are so expensive that it's a high-risk/high-reward venture, especially in a post-COVID landscape.

I'm a little more blackpilled on entertainment than you. Not because of a Biden victory, nor because all companies are these woke cabals from top to bottom. It's that both HR and the people that report to the decision makers are the marxist sort. Unless you get rid of these people, entertainment will remain fucked, regardless of the money lost.

Possibly, but the money losses are pretty bad now because of COVID-19, so I could expect a lot of layoffs of the HR diversity hires and similar dead weight if we get more flops. Especially if something as big as an MCU movie bombs
