One industry I can think of is the law industry.

Soon you will have agencies starting to make AI services that can skim and read contracts and highlight the important parts you want to know about and ask it questions about technicalities about the contract and how to slip around them legally.

Blue collar is fucked too, I seen demos of more recent robots doing stuff in logistics and its scary, they get faster every month with every new demo they show us, fuckers went from moving like a drunk amazon employee to now moving like one doing oxy, kinda slow but not making mistakes or falling.

I know rudimentary python, and I’m currently using ChatGPT to write scripts for Vapoursynth to encode an old TV series. There are hiccups, but it’s working this will only get more advanced meaning you’ll be able to get by with fewer actual coders, and the role of a coder will change to overseeing what the LLM is generating. No longer will you need to spend weeks writing functions, debugging also will become much simpler when your compiler understands natural language.

In the not too distant future, you’ll be able to tell your computer to build you a Skyrim clone with limited technical knowledge, and a willingness to learn.

Anyways skilled programmers will still be employed, but it’s the average, or poor ones that will suffer.
