Really, it's one of those interesting bits of trivia.

I hope my point wasn't loss. Chris literally thinks what the trolls article on the CWCki says, that the ranks of the trolls are about 7 billion strong. He thinks every living person except for a small handful is a troll.

Now that's a very, very delusional claim by him. Ah who cares, that's why he's going to be "FOREVER ALONE"! With that kind of attitude, he's not going to get even the lower-tier of women.

Heh, well, kinda.

Like, a big part of that sort of thing is that Chris lacks a sense of scale. Chris doesn't know what "billion" means, especially in relation to the human population of the planet. To Chris, "billion" is just a big number. In his head, he's pretty much just saying a "bajillion" people.

No, but it's hard to say.

M. Night Shyamalan directed and produced After Earth. The marketing team for that movie did everything they could to hide his involvement with the film though.

And it still managed to only make about 48 dollars at the box office.
Who would have thought that a cynical money vehicle designed by Will Smith to prove that he was so powerful that he could transform his son - while using his son like a tool - into an A-list star simply by using the brute force of his own star power would have done poorly?

Mix in a little bit of ironic lack of foresight, and that's Chris's life philosophy in a nutshell.

Basically, it won't be a premeditated thing by a troll, it'll just be Chris being Chris. I mean look at the Gameplace incident, it just started with Chris seeing a sign in the window and snowballed from there in a way that only Chris can achieve.
Chris is like a whirlpool. You can make a little one in the tub by stirring your finger around vigorously, but the most impressive and awe-inspiring examples are the ones that happen in nature, without man's interference.

Chris attacking the Game Place was the "Happening."

It was a simple, fateful Friday afternoon, and everyone is ready to go home for the weekend. Then in comes the banned man child-turned Tomgirl Chris. Though he cowers and runs away, he ended up having the guts to hit Michael with the car.

Ever since, all content has been limited to Facebook postings. Only an event of that caliber could restore Chris to what he once was.

When's the last time he had a hit? The Sixth Sense?(!) It used to be that casting Will Smith was a sure bet.

My theory is he doesn't think everyone is a troll; it's more that any one person is potentially a troll.

It's like a corollary to the [cwc]infinitely high boyfriend factor[/cwc], with the result being [cwc]noviophobia[/cwc]. Here, it's infinitely high troll factor, with the result being paranoia about all strangers.

I, for one, am pretty optimistic that another saga will occur. Most normal people's lives are filled with all sorts of events and shit. Chris loves attention and doesn't learn from his mistakes. Yeah, he's shell shocked now and ridiculously paranoid. But OPL will be back eventually.

That was his last actually good movie, the rest were the same old shit to diminishing returns with his 'shocking twist endings!' But if you're talking domestic (only) boxoffice, Unbreakable made a decent return, Signs made a metric ton of cash profit, The Village almost doubled what it cost to make, The Happening made some profit but Airbender didn't make money back and this last movie is a certifiable bomb, so as shitty as The Village was, that's your answer and he's moving on to TV, thanks for playing M. Night, you hack.

This is actually fascinating and I think you're definitely onto something, but there's already a word for this particular phenomenon; Xenophobia. So this would make Chris a xenophobic, racist, anti-Semitic, noviophobe. In addition to all his charming physical characteristics. Who also happens to be single and looking ladies!

I don't know if it will be a saga but I can see the "friendship" between Chris and Anna eventually breaking down and causing some content to drop. What if she gets a girl/boyfriend? How will they react when they find out about Chris? What if they don't like her interacting with Chris because there's so much baggage? What if she just drops Chris totally once she has someone? How would Chris react if despite Anna's claim of being gay she got a boyfriend? All of Chris's friends are Anna's friends. He'd feel even more alone without asspats and good energy.

None of the likely answers to those questions are ones Chris would like.

Anna needs Chris in order to give her life a sense of purpose. I think she defines a lot of herself through him. Chris is a magnet for codependents.

god, anna and chris should just get it over with and realize they're perfect for each other

A movie needs to gross twice its production costs in order to make a profit, since the cinema takes about 45% of the box office receipt and production costs don't include marketing costs. Usually a movie is considered successful if it does this domestically, then makes some decent additional profit with overseas and video.

and with the ways things are run now, the movie isn't considered successful unless they double their production costs within that first weekend.

I can see some strange socially awkward thing that Chris does being seen as a threat of some kind, resulting in a bad experience for Chris that could result in more legal troubles. Barb dying will probably be another big episode, though we may never bear witness to the fallout. Anna and Chris splitting could have some fireworks, or could just sputter and cease to be.

Besides those, I think Chris will mostly just run into small social speedbumps along the way to dying alone after suffering a stroke in Food Lion bathroom. However, I never discount the possibility for something improbably-fantastic, like alien intervention. It's Chris... Anything is possible (except success).

Yes, you're absolutely right but I was simplifying the success yardsticks in the interest of post brevity, but now that I see that I'm not dealing with some naive innocents in you a Catparty regarding major film studio finance, we can all agree M. Night is a one trick pony who's been ready for the glue factory for a decade now and we should all shun his work in the future accordingly.

Although the Sonichu movie needs to have him in the mix for directing the project if it ever gets off the ground, you know, for the lulz.

Unless Chris does something stupid by himself like the Place incident again, I think we only have left future releases of things that may be happening now like the wicca stuff of the misterious woman that according to the massive facebook leak was behind the "Im my own free bitch" picture (Not Jackie YET AGAIN, please! )

I guess that if those in the know like Marvin know what's behind this stuff, its still classified info.

Just wait until memory-altering devices come into fruition. We can send Chris back to 2006 and start over! *yawn*
