Fucking hell...I made a big post in some other thread before about how I went from enjoying the OAG articles to just using them as another source of raw information and barely bothering to read them all a while back. He's gotten WORSE since I decided to do that some months ago.

It was a garbage ten or so minute(if you read all the text)RPGMaker game, one of the shitty ones that belong in the bottom of the bargain bin on the sites it's sold on(piracy by the by, never pay for porn if you can help it).

This is hardly any better. That screenshot alone just says to me "It's anime Haydee with guns, piss, and shit", and I doubt it actually has nearly the work the Haydee devs put into their game. Girls Deadly School likewise looks shit.

I'll come out and say it, I'll power level for the rest of the Farms: I took a look at his fucking Waifu Holocaust list once and actually looked every individual game he had on it up. Guess what? Shocker of all shocks, most of them were shit and of the ones that weren't, most of them were already being sold on other sites like DLSite or Nutaku or whatever, some a good while before trying to head to Steam, and already found their market.

That entire Waifu Holocaust list is just the concentrated assmad of a singular individual who has absolutely GARBAGE taste in porn games and gets blown the fuck out every time something with titties gets banned for likely being below the bar. There's plenty of amazing nonporn stuff he could choose to focus on too, and he covers SOME games, but mostly he sticks to anything to do with censorship, whether it's worth caring about or not. That's the hill he chose to die on.

I probably have already said it before, but his Steam Waifu Holocaust list has only Kara no Shoujo 2 (made by Innocent Grey, a dev company quite known to make quality visual novels) and Rance as the sole games worth mentioning, the rest is trash like you said. But even those two titles are available elsewhere on PC so i dont really get his massive outcry either.

His Sony censorship list is garbage as well. Nonetheless this is the guy who is very quick to jump on conclusions and accusations despite lack of decisive proofs, he even admits it but still rolls on with the censorship/sjw narrative merely because of a few examples that happened before and because that's also the popular trend among his fanbase. In case you missed it, Mages Inc., and Spike Chunsoft’s YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love At The Bound of This World launched uncensored on Steam. The game doesn’t have any explicit sex scenes or Adults Only-tier content, but compared to the console release, you don’t get any mysterious sunbeams or light obscuring the ecchi art, nor do you have to worry about any changes being made to accommodate the restrictions set by the platform holders (namely Sony).

Some of you might remember that back in May it was revealed that YU-NO‘s Western launch on PS4 and Nintendo Switch would be censored.

So what was the reasons for adding the mysterious beam of light? Well, as pointed out by Noisy Pixel, it was to secure an ‘M’ for Mature rating from the ESRB and to gain approval from the platform holders, specifically Sony, since they have censorship policies in place.

The fact he praises one of the most terrible remakes in existence as "boner culture" upsets me a bit. YU-NO was redrawn by Nagi Ryou, except the guy's art decreased a lot in quality past the PS2 days (he previously did the art for the Ar Tonelico games), and the new character designs took a considerable hit compared to their original PC98 counterparts. Even the new CGs look worse because they lack the shading and detail of the older pixel art.

But the problem with the "visual novel" term is that it's been popularized and mistakenly thrown together with the more classical japanese adventure format (point&click), which Ace Attorney, Famicom Detective Club and YU-NO were designed as such for instance. As is typical from the crowd over on Reddit, they were quick to justify the censorship because this is what the media has taught them; that whatever changes a character undergo that gives them more coverage, it’s a good thing, it’s okay, it’s fine, it’s all right.

You can read some of the justifications for censorship via an archive of the Granblue Fantasy sub-reddit, but it will do little more than boil the blood that pumps righteous freedom through your patriotic veins.

Everyone knew that Granblue Fantasy: Versus would not be forfeited from its duty to succumb to Sony’s censorship policies. We saw it slightly with Metera during her trailer, but the change to Zeta is even more obvious, and the covering up of her thighs is a clear indication that Cygames and Arc System Works are bowing to creative pressure, either from above or via self-censorship to avoid having to face any kind of directives from an ethics committee or one of Sony’s censorship officers.
