I kinda think Karl might actually kill himself if he loses. Losing to Billy Mitchell has got to be one of the most ego destroying things that can happen to anyone. As someone who broke down crying because he beat a level of Goldeneye .05 seconds faster than anyone else, I don't think he's mentally equipped to deal with that.

In general, no, but unfortunately, as defamation goes, they're insane like all the Commonwealth countries. Truth isn't even an absolute defense. Plus loser pays, so whoever loses is absolutely fucked.

Well, we'll soon see who the real retard is. Actually they're both retarded. The main reason for concern is this is in Australia. I'm not sure it would have even survived a SLAPP here from a competent legal team. I mean it did against Twin Galaxies but they were ALSO fucking retarded.

I think it's gonna have to be stated multiple times today, but this lawsuit doesn't really have anything to do with Billy Mitchell's Donkey Kong scores.

Billy definitely cheated and that's an irrefutable fact to anyone who's not a retard that shills for a boomer who desperately clings onto being good at Donkey Kong in the 80's. But this lawsuit is only about how Billy feels Karl defamed him. Billy alleges that Karl defamed him and damaged his character by saying that Billy caused Apollo Legend to kill himself by suing him. His claimed damages for this are loss of income from conventions cancelling on him and apparently being so stressed that he was physically ill and couldn't eat properly for like a week.

The high score dispute did come up during the course of the lawsuit, but only really because Karl's lawyer was trying to prove that Billy's reputation was shit before the alleged comments while Billy was trying to frame it as his name had been cleared or something.

For anyone new to the trial, someone flew down to Australia to watch the entire thing and wrote about each day in a blog that you can read through.

Yeah this is pretty common in defamation cases that I have observed. "Your reputation is already shit, therefore I could not have damaged something so broke in the first place.

Karl also called null a mean bullyjerk and told his faggot fans to report his youtube channel for laughing at him but I would bet he still wouldn't want Billy to win this lawsuit because it would ultimately further the goals of jews who want to strengthen their grip on speech under the guise of prosecuting justified defamation cases, which are bullshit 99% of the time.
