That's the thing though. A streaming website is going to run at a loss. There have been many attempts in the past including some fairly recent big ones where they were actively trying to poach top twitch 'talent' like ninja, etc. They lasted for like a year before closing down. Their closest rival is youtube but that too is propped up by a monolithic corporation. There will be no competition so twitch is more or less free to be as arbitrary, draconian, and corrupt as it wants to be. Fringe benefit of being a near monopoly.

Yeah you can appeal bans on Twitch. Twitch mods are dickheads though so you have to appeal it 'nicely' or they'll get their backs up. Problem is Wings will probably throw a tantrum and fuck up his own appeal by being an idiot during the appeal, or he'll have been found to be ban evading and get in trouble.

I don't follow his wife at all so don't know if he was on her stream or anything but even him claiming that he wasn't doesn't convince me that he wasn't because he lies so often even if things are recorded.

Twitch policies have always been pretty bad, especially if you aren't an uber left leaning guy like Hasan (who got like a 24hr ban for insulting white people repeatedly and screaming racial slurs about white people) or if you aren't a "hot" girl who shows their tits so the Twitch mods can jerk it like Pokimane (who got like a 24hr ban for literally sitting there watching a full TV show on air).

Wings was never going to do well on Twitch since he can't keep his mouth under control and he doesn't fit Twitch's target demographic of soft core porn models, children's entertainers, left wing nutjobs screaming about politics and vtubers.

I honestly hate twitch’s system for situations like this. Why should you not be allowed to issue a statement on another streamer’s show?
I get the “don’t create a new account” one, but completely censoring someone during a ban seems counter productive to twitch’s own business interests.
