He's desperate for approval and thus, chooses to be contrarian and play Devil's Advocate in an effort to please as many people. Unfortunately, he chooses to do this for hot button topics like Age of Consent and Hitler's policies, and not something easy to placate people with like abortion or healthcare.

Man, this was a good one.

As always, all he's ever done wrong is "I once got mad on a videogame", as if his iconic breakdown wasn't caused because people were trolling him for banning over petty shit like mentioning his K/D and overall being an asshole and saying he doesn't care about his viewers/support if it isn't in the form of money and then tried to shut off all criticism or all the death threats in-between. It's crazy how despite religiously watching his own compilations for years he never once thought "man, I'm really an awful person, I need to change".

I love the irony of it all. For years Wings talked about he wanted PKA to leave him alone and never talk about him again since they were only using him for views and creating more trolls or how he wouldn't ever go unless he got 10k and his pride on how he wouldn't accept $9999. Now he's begging to be there for free and of course, when they don't reply, he'll be back on saying how his friends abandoned him, even though he was clear that Kyle and Woody weren't his friends and never were.

That and the whole 'getting unfairly banned over minor offenses' almost makes Wings feel like a modern Ignatius Reilly. I wonder if an actual writer follows the Wings saga

So I'm hesitant to say this because it's been beaten to death and back, what do you guys think will trigger a true rock bottom 2.0?

Imo, we haven't had a true sequel. There's been plenty of disaster streams that have come close but I don't think we've ever seen the same energy captured twice. Right now, imo, is the first time since the original were we have all the necessary pieces like the first rock bottom ( possible de-platforming, severely overweight, possibility of having to leave e-fame behind).

The only thing stopping a true 2.0 is he isn't completely broke and he still has Kelly to lean on financially and emotionally. The second Kelly questions if this relationship with Wings is still worth it when he's completely deadweight as a partner then this arc will hit it's absolute peak.

I don't see it happening with him being chemically lobotomized on SSRIs. He'd have to quit the Lexi first. Someone more familiar with these drugs would know better than me but that's my $0.02.
