I think it was something as simple as troll channels (lummox or 007 being the main scapegoats) begging wings not to strike them or fuck with them and they'd leave wings alone in turn. That plus obnoxious troll tipping to plug their channels (So many troll channels have done this at one point. I don't believe this is singular to one person or group or was part of some lucrative blackmail.) and voila, troll channels have secret financial deals with wings.

And what wings said today is true. Lummox probably isn't paying him anymore Aka he stopped giving him troll donations. I don't catch that many live streams anymore but there's been an obvious absence of troll donations coming from YouTube channels. I think that's what wings considers paying him tbh. It's like we've gone full circle on the idea of why so many troll channels existed and why it was so funny and why it's so gay now.
First we had sean ranklin having the best moments during the R6 2017 era, and this upset Wings because sean ranklin was stealing his content and his views and all that. What happens next? A bunch of channels start to pop up, effectively covering Wings' streams in different formats and cucking him out of the search algorithm, and as channels kept popping up, so did their names and ocassionally the production value to make them more watchable than Wings' stream (notable names being Lord of the Wings, Conway Conman, The Slobfather, UnLimited BEG). It was in line with the troll donations that Wings would read ("Ban Final Surgery 7").

Now it's like everybody just wants to make their own brand and keep making this "shitty but also 'high quality'" format, except that Wings isn't funny anymore and he's not annoyed by troll channels. I wish Breaking Banquet had fucked off for good, especially with his clickbait thumbnails and misleading intros, like you need to intentionally make Wings look like a retard instead of just letting it happen.

I do agree that there were cease-fire deals and that Lummox was at least giving him something. I mean, how weird that he was the only one who never got struck during the troll civil wars? I know he privated his videos several times, but he never got taken down and at one point was the only one uploading. He also was against charging back and from what I remember, wasn't Lummox the one who took down LEEN back then and then became the second LEEN just so people wouldn't think he suddenly disappeared?
