You'd be surprised. Everyone is on board with the "retarded" assessment but many still think he's a genuinely good person. I think it was FPS Kyle who said that Jordie's superpower is making people feel bad for him. No matter how much shit he gets himself into, people come out in droves to wish him well. There's being socially inept and there's being creepy. Based on his interaction with younger people in games, he's treading a fine line without much social awareness. I understand that video games are often played by teens to young adults and he's a streamer, but sometimes he can be a bit TOO out there.

This. I don't think it's a preferential thing like it is for the likes of EDP, GrossGore and Onision but he certainly is so low-IQ and low self-esteem that he would probably reciprocate any kind of affection shown to him at this point.
The clip is old but it only resurfaced this year. Even when it came to light, it didn't get a massive amount of attention outside of the Wings community. He tried claiming that he never said it, that it was just a shock jock comment, and then came last week where he doubled down and try to justify it. He keeps digging a deeper hole for himself and refuses to put the shovel down.
