Are we sure it's Wings doing it?

It could honestly be some anti-cyberbullying thing from the platform itself. Wings is pretty well known nowadays.

It's actually believe to be a former DSP fan named Superhound. He went to one of the troll discords and basically said that because they wouldn't give him control of the discord he was going on a banning crusade including discord channels, subreddits, troll channels etc

What does one man do to acquire so much power? Really, how does this guy have the pull/clout to get these channels deplatformed? They have been around for years, certainly they have been reported before, so what is different now?

I believe he's just a loser who takes advantage of how most platforms, especially social media, tend to play it safe with reported content. Youtube in particular, as I understand it, places a responsibility on the uploader to defend the content from such claims. I assume it's not worth contesting the claims for most wings content as it's very easy to paint it as bullying even though the vast majority of it is just edits of shit wings says.
With Wings content it's clear it's making fun of a fat loser so the safest option will always be to side with the autistic reporter without much thought.

When you think about it, places like Youtube have been cracking down on trolling-cyberbullying to create a safespace for "everyone". Could be a possible explanation.
 
I still don't buy it that there is one DSP fanboy reporting all these videos. Lummox is still up, not sure about his monetization because I haven't watched one of his videos in a week or two but his most recent upload is 12 hours ago at the time of this posting.

Leen got taken down, and he was hated by pretty much every troll because he gave Wings money under the table so that his channel didn't get taken down. Either something changed recently in their relationship or it's not Wings, because that's money that he would stop gaining

He doesn't have any power. He exploits Twitter report and YouTube copyright systems. Both of which are completely broken. Anyone can do what he's doing.

They're small channels that won't fight the strikes. Except for Ranklin, but he makes about two videos a year on Wings. Safe to say he's done with it regardless.

If Hound is such a l33t h4x0r then why is SuunyV2, Joon The King and Fredrik Knudsen still around. Because Hound can't do shit to them. They'll fight it and win.

Let's be honest, the smaller Wings troll channels are hastily made dogshit videos. Few, if any of us will miss Lummox or Wings Tings and all it does is give Wings less and less relevance.

Let Hound LARP. In the end, he works for the detractors and either doesn't know it or doesn't see it, he doesn't get what he really wants, and the people he tries to help he ultimately fucks over.

Not to mention, that some of them like Lord of the Wings were abandoned so there was basically no one to dispute those strikes.
