I'm glad someone else is pointing out how bad his shawk jawk excuse is, a surprising amount of people actually seem to believe it.

If you watch actual shock jocks like Stern or O&A they usually would tell a joke with a punchline or be riffing about something with other people in a comedic atmosphere.

When Wings would talk about lowering the age of consent, watching child porn or planning out mass shootings he would usually say it in a completely serious tone and the rest of the hosts would go silent because they couldn't believe what they were hearing or immediately try to change the subject to avoid the awkwardness. The age of consent clip is the only one I can remember where they tried to get him to clarify his position and he doubled down about wanting it to be cut off at 12.

The planning out mass shootings clip in particular sticks in my head because Wings lead into it by saying he was bullied all his life, then sounding like he was on the verge of tears said he planned out shootings. It sounded more like a therapy session than a joke.

His new excuse of "I lied about everything I said" is just as dumb. Why would he repeatedly lie about watching CP, lowering age of consent or wanting to go on killing sprees? Usually when people lie about stuff it's so they'll be perceived in a positive light, what's positive about being seen as a pedo or potentially violent nutcase? Shit makes no sense.
