PersonaGaming was an affiliation channel he would tout and even put their title card at the start of his main channel videos back then. The video I linked here was released 1 month after MW2, when Wings' true golden trailer park pimp years were soon to follow. I remember there was a huge volume of content from him then, he would post gameplays almost every day. He was on fire for a while, pulling in top-tier view counts for COD gameplay before entering in to petty feuds with Hutch and some other CoD creators about his camping line-of-sight farming playstyle vs. the aggressive quickscoping Machinima-sponsored style that became popular and drew seething contempt from Wings at the time. The fallout from this was when da trollz really started noooticing and exploiting the negative parts of Wing's personality. Negative comments on his videos and his seething reactions soon became commonplace and his commentors seemed to almost evenly split between supporters and detractors, both always having very in-depth arguements about what EXACTLY constitutes as camping. I think this marked the true start of his lolcow status even before the Syndicate 1v1.

Also I'm just very nostalgic for these videos and would love to know if they still exist.

I found the video I was remembering with this whole point, it's the earliest instance I can recall of Wings going full cow, the Hutch feud in 2010 when he showed the world he absolutely would NOT stand for criticism toward his boring campy playstyle and proceeded to be the most petty bitch about it for the longest time. He made this rant and it was like a watershed moment when a large amount of his viewers and other commentary channels realised he's a bit of a prick. From then on there was a new level of spite in a good portion of his commentaries, every other video had a point to make against his viewers.

Hutch comparatively didn't give much of a shit IIRC.

lcl is a weird combination of script, heavily embellished stories, and heavily relying on wings/boogies man-child life styles to dictate that weeks script. Also, Wings and Boogie are fully on board sharing all aspects of their lives for content because they are extreme narcissists. I think these combinations make anything lcl related look instantly fake. I don't think that's an entirely accurate way of looking at this.

For instance, the Boogie cancer arc. Faking cancer was undeniably real event Boogie has lied for years about. Keem took that and gutted it dry. But if all you knew about Boogie and faking cancer was because of lcl, you'd think the whole thing was fake.

Bringing it back to wings + kelly's current shit show. Look at how their relationship began:

- Wings and Kelly matched on a dating app but she flaked on him. Wings was resentful of this for a long time BTW

- They keep in touch as "friends" (backup options)

- They later reconnect after all their options dried up. While at the beginning stages of their relationship, wings was catfished hard by a troll. Still trying his best to match with someone other than Kelly.

- Wings, over the years, has insulted her appearance, made her cry numerous times, weasels out of countless events, doesn't celebrate her important milestones, refuses to have sex with her, looks up degenerate porn because he has no attraction to kelly, broadcast her personal life for views/money, purposely stacks his online schedule for the times she's home in order to avoid her, etc.

- Now, recently, he's focusing on lcl more and is obviously attracted to that pig Becky. I guess he's going to her house for some weird reason? Not why or how but that's why Kelly is acting up, right now.

I'm not going to say a divorce is imminent (even though it really should be) but I'm saying look at their history before immediately declaring it fake. There's a small chance, if Kelly didn't have 0 self-esteem and a spine, this divorce arc could become real content.
