Wings has now said he's planning to get a German shepherd because "they need a lot of exercise so I'm hoping it'll motivate me to walk more." This is a bad idea even by his standards. Wings has now revealed that the dog is going to cost "$13,000" and that it is going to be that expensive because "obedience training will be $10,000." Why so expensive? Because he wants the dog to get "attack training" so that "if anyone comes to my house, it'll be a 2-v-1." Of course it really would be a one on one because Wings himself would just be hiding behind the dog, or more likely using a firearm, but you get the idea. I don't know why he ever even tried to pretend he wanted a German shepherd to motivate him to exercise lol.

The other day he showed some Discord screenshots of someone he said was GulagKingpin declaring they have "planned out the end of Jordie Jordan" and saying that they are going to fly to the West coast from Australia, then drive 30 hours cross-continent in a rental car to Richard's trailer and shoot him. Wings then went on a big long rant about how this would be impossible and would never happen. Nonetheless, the timing is unlikely to be a coincidence. This is probably what inspired him to need an "attack dog" all of a sudden. I don't totally blame him for being a bit nervous because he does in fact have people that are absolutely psychotic among his haters.

I don't know that any kind of dog would actually stop a person with a gun though. Perhaps you could get a dog to act as a guard dog and be another form of alarm to warn of anyone intruding on the property, but that's not what he described. 62 IQ thinking as usual. Wings is the most hate-able because he has just enough self-awareness to know what he is. He said on a recent stream "I know people think I'm this fat waste of space," the truth is, he knows they are mostly right about that. He is a fat dumb redneck that basically won the lottery with his Internet "career," and then won it twice over when he got onto LCL. He is a useless person that has never earned anything in life, at least not since he was laid off from Metglas, and on some level he knows it. That is why his ego is so fragile and why, to this day, he still cannot handle any form of criticism and refuses to ever do anything besides zombie-stream in his personally controlled hugbox while zonked out of his gourd on SSRIs. It's one reason he can't go back to LCL, because he can't handle being seen as a lolcow, despite knowing that is what everyone sees him as probably even his own wife/caretaker/roommate.

This is why despite Keemstar correctly saying "no one wants to watch you [Wings] play video games," and that Wings is best in a podcast format that shows off his personality, Wings still refuses to do anything else. One thing he has said is "why would I go back on LCL and do a podcast under Keemstar when I could just do a show on my own." That's true he could just do a show on his own, yet he never does. Why? Because the reason he is entertaining when he talks is that he can't help but say retarded shit constantly, whenever he opens his mouth, stupidity comes out. And that is fun for people to watch but not in the way that Wings wants. He streams video games despite no one giving a shit because he believes it is the only thing he is good at in life, it is the only way his ego can handle being live, when he is telling himself that he is showing off to the world how good he is at something. It's a way for him to manage the impostor syndrome and the fact that the impostor syndrome in his case is correct, it's not just a feeling in his head.

DSP on the other hand has little to no self awareness and is an actual NPC. While he is a loathesome person, he could not possibly be otherwise, because he doesn't even know what he is. Expecting him to change would be like expecting a small child not to eat sweets anymore when they are offered, on some level they aren't fully responsible for their own actions. Wings however knows what he is, has known it his whole life, and has actively chosen every step of the way to embrace it and never change. Not only that, but he wallows self-pity over it all, despite the fact that objectively the vast majority of people would kill to be in his circumstances (sitting on a pile of money with no need to do anything besides stream CoD to nobody for a few hours a day to maintain their lifestyle, and with no real obligations to anyone or anything). A weak man who expects you to feel sorry for him is an inherently repulsive figure.

Wings is the perfect synthesis of that archetype with many other hated traits into a sort of ultimate fusion of a guy that you just really want to kick the shit out of, even if he has never technically done anything wrong to deserve it. To be honest, I stopped watching DSP because he just became annoying and his dislikabilty became entangled with me not wanting to hear his voice, his begging, and his circular ramblings. I haven't been as engaged with DSP this past year, but what you said does resonate with me.
