Hmm... I personally felt kind slapped in the face by the de-rank and thought that was gay, but the discord wasn't cancer like this as a whole until Whale Watchers imo. In the beginning it was just talking about the stupid shit Wings did and just talking in voice and laughing about shit. One of the coolest members of all was Professional E-Beggar, who's nowhere to be seen now. Wings Tings and Wings Of Depression quit when Wings got swatted (even though the discord rules disavowed swatting or personal attacks like that, so guilty conscious maybe?) I mean it was cool cause in the beginning it was people Wings knew personally and had fucked over so it was genuinely cool to hear why they disliked him. It was just civil chats. Really it was Leen that chapped everyone's ass. They insta-banned his name, ban people who talk about him.. etc. Leen shit talks the discord on his channel, talks about his banning from the discord, and next thing you know there is like a troll civil war or some shit. So now you have the Leen people who are against milking the cow which is gay, and the Whale Watchers who wanna milk the cow but ruin his life and keep him a cow which is fucked.

(there has to be a good middle ground, right?)

I think you're right. People got bored of low tier donation trolling and typing in chat and stream sniping so they moved on to more extreme shit like the resume and charge backs, and they got comfortable with their power to fuck with the fat man's life. Then they wanted more.

It's kinda like porn. It'll get you off for a while but eventually you're gonna want to fuck a real woman.

Just got home from a game to find the chat freshly deleted, but not before I managed to see that they were discussing Chriszilla's doxing.
