No I don't think he ever was. I think Wings of Obesity crossed the line into A-log territory quite by accident, and because the community encourages that plus he was ballsy about it, it gained him attention and applause. After being in the community for long enough he was desensitized to why the things he was doing was overboard. Thinking someone is a fat fuck who embarasses himself and has the mannerisms of a child is worth belittle and laughing at, or ignoring altogether if not entertaining. But when you start believing you should punish them in real life or need to know personal details of education, relationship, weight (beyond a vague timeline) then you're entering socially unacceptable territory.

He's an adult capable of having discussion, being respectful, and I reciprocate what he brings to the table. He's right about wings in most cases, I just feel he doesn't bake on how to respond to it much, plus he's in a subculture of people who otherwise desperately want to hurt or ruin wings, and social influence is a powerful drug even to adults. When you're in that environment for laughs, knowing people, and enjoying their community they are going to have an impact on you. That's why propaganda works.

Wings looks like he's sliding back towards pre surgery anxiety. His mom has had two heart attacks, his grandmother was in an automobile accident (whew lad) and he's worried about paying taxes and whether he gets the house

Matthew Ottewell, who works for Skovberg Hinz as an 'expert in family law' would like us to know that he reported a fat person on the internet to the IRS for tax fraud, or tax evasion (either way.)

If Wings has been over-reporting his taxes he has nothing to worry about for him to be honest. They'll either refund the excess or they'll take what they got from him. If he was claiming like, 12 tax exemptions (for example) and didn't have 12 reasons to claim those tax exemptions then he should be worried.

I think I had the screenshot in another post but someone asked if hes worried about people reporting to his boss. He claims he works for himself. Not sure if he has his own firm or is partnered with others.

Wings Is okay, it's his anxiety thats fucking with him.

Meh I know some people will take issue with this but reporting him for tax fraud or what have you seems fair game to me. That's how the system works, they rely on people reporting those who aren't paying because they cannot actually police everyone. Messing with his real life and causing issues (scaring friends/relationships away, making him unemployable) is uncool but if they're breaking the law, reporting them to the authorities as long as you're not stretching the truth just is hard to demonize. Yeah you're doing it for the wrong reason but he's not going to get anything he didn't earn.

I think the problem is that many people don't get the line. The line between ok and not ok is where you feel a punitive need. When you no longer are satisfied with saying that people like Wings/Boogie are shitty people but feel the need to punish them yourself personally, you're crossing a line and bound to make some bad moves. When you feel that frustration coming up you have to make yourself aware, that those feelings are inside of you pertaining to you, and step back. Find someone else to laugh at, fix whatever is causing that frustration/anger. It's a fire alarm for your own mental health.
